I am writng to inmates and sharing the Gospel. I feel the Lord has put this on my heart, I believe that no one should be forgotten even those behind the walls. It's been a year in writing, I am learning alot and also been blessed. I know God there is more that God wants me to do, I am not sure what it is though.

I think this is a very worthy ministry and I pray that God richly blesses it. I agree with you completely and know that God can work anywhere. God promises that His Word will never return void - it will always accomplish His Perfect Will and Purpose.

Isaiah 55:6-13 ASV  Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found; call ye upon him while he is near:  7  let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.  8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.  9  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  10  For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and giveth seed to the sower and bread to the eater;  11  so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  12  For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.  13  Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir-tree; and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle-tree: and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

I will pray that God richly blesses your ministry.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 Timothy 4:6 ASV  If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed until now:

You are not alone wanting to do more. One of the hardest things for me to do is wait on Gods timing. Something I've learned is that everything happens for a reason with God. His plan is always more awsome then we could of ever imagined. Trust in Him He alot smarter then us. You are right when you said people who are locked up need Jesus. I can relate as I spent 10 years behide the walls. It has been almost 20 years since I got out. Now I have a construction buss. in which I help people with jobs and vollinteer fixing houses. Remember His timing is perfect.
May God bless you and your work for the Lord
