Thank you Brothers.

Brother Tom, if you have anything you'd think I'd like, please send them.

Why was original topic locked?

Hello Brother David,

I got busy, and I'm sorry that I missed this until now. I'll put something together tonight and send it to you.

Reference the locked thread, we had a smart and inappropriate comment added by a user, and the user was banned. I thought the user might come back under another name and do it again, so I locked the thread. I locked some other threads for the same reason. This is just part of our battle to keep the forum decent for Christian Family Use.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I think I may know who and what might have been said.

Anyways, thank you again.

GOOD MORNING BROTHER DAVID!

You should have two emails from me in your inbox. I did send you some material, but I plan to send more. I got to thinking that I've sent you a lot of material from the 1800s because those are my favorites. I'll be looking for some things that younger people might enjoy more. This did get me to thinking why I like older material so much.

Before you say it, I'll answer:  NO, I wasn't born in the 1800s, and I didn't fight in the Civil War. However, I know that I'll get hit with this from others anyway.    Grin  I'll have them know that I WAS BORN after 1900. We might even get indoor plumbing and electricity soon.   Grin

Love In Christ,
Tom

2 Corinthians 4:3-6 NASB  3  And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,  4  in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.  5  For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.  6  For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
