Why we are persecuted because we christian have be bless a lots. we want to be richer & have better promotion. We have forget about Jesus grace.
We want house, car, bungalow. not search the kingdom of God. Please pray that our gold & silver be nothing compare the love of Jesus

Hello Sister May,

I really don't know or understand why Christians are persecuted. I don't think it's because we are rich because many persecuted Christians are very poor. A bigger question is why was Jesus Christ persecuted, beaten, and crucified. We know that His earthly ministry was full of love and kindness, and He helped many people. Most of the Christians I know are not rich - except in Christ, but most of the world hates us. Just as the Bible says - they hated Jesus Christ first. They don't want to hear that they are sinners or be convicted of their sins. Regardless, millions of people are still accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour every day. I think that the answer about hate is the devil.

In Mauritius, may be we have lost our first love for Jesus.

Mauritius is a small world in an island
the hindus people do not want their member to be christian because many are born again christian

I don't have the money or the health to travel much, so I'll listen to what you say about your home. I'm not complaining - God has richly blessed me and my family. Everything you've said about Mauritius makes it sound very nice. I'm hoping and praying that Christians can lead their lives and freely worship there. Freedom of religion and worship would be much more important to me than money or material things. In fact, money and material things are near the bottom of my list of things that are important.

I do understand your feeling.The Hindu who want this law but till now it has not been voted in the Parliament.
We christian were feeling so secure but when we heard that bad news we have renewed in our prayer and trusted in Jesus.
Praise God what you said about money in your life.
