It’s 5 AM, do you know where your Tibby is?
Awake. Hey guys, my sleep patterns are a little bit on the messed up side. I haven’t sleep all night. School starts Monday. Pray that I get good rest, and I’m about to stay awake in class and sleep at night, like I should do. Thanks. Love ya guys.
I guess it is just worry over school and stuff, not to mention that I’m a “night owl.” But the fact that is it 5 AM, I haven’t sleep at all, and I’m awake and alert, too awake or alert to sleep, it cause for some added concern.
I might also add I commute 30 minute-1 hour from my place of residence to class. A lot can happen with a drive at long, and with a tired driver, that is even more dangerous.
I’m just worried all of this will effect my school, and this worry added to the lack of sleep which adds to the worry which adds to the lack of sleep which adds to the worry. You get the idea. The strange thing is, I’m really not worried about school, I’m worried about not getting sleep, and that worry keeps me away!
I don’t think I’m anywhere near what you would call an insomniac, I just would like to sleep at normally times.
Just keep me in your prayers, and I promise never to right a post this spaced out again.

Oklahoma Howdy to Tibby, Brother, I'll be praying for you. It sounds like you need to burn off some more energy, one of those young guy problems. Just an idea: Try a workout a couple of hours before you are ready to go to sleep, sit down and relax for a few minutes, take a long, hot shower, and go to bed. In Christ, Tom

Yeah, I'm going to get to the park today, play some soccer of football of something. I finally got to sleep at 6:30, and just woke up. Needless to say, didn't make it to church. Well, I will try that tonight. Go for a road run beofe I head off to bed. In 10 years, I'm going to wonder wear all the energy went, arn't it?

Poor Tib! I know how that goes. It can be miserable business to have to function normally when just keeping your eyelids apart is more than you can handle! Sleep problems I know well.
Here's an idea-you know that really boring class you hate to study for? Study for it at night when you can't sleep. Also tryptophan turns to seratonin when it heats up, and that makes you sleepy. Try drinking hot milk-it has tryptophan-maybe with choklit and carmull..yummerz!
Tryptophan is also in Turkey, soy beans (you can drink soy milk if you're lactose intolerant), and I believe cheeses have it as well, if I'm remembering it right. Or you can get tryptophan at health food stores.
Praying for you, Tib!

I will try all of that. I drank massive glasses of milk whe nI was in powerlifting season. Better start drinking it again. Get to sleep. Thanks guys. I'm going to kick it into high gear, and down some milk. See if that gets me rested for tomorrow.

Been there. Done that brother! Don't envy you one bit. Then again...I've lived on 5 hours of sleep a night for the past 10 years. And nope! In ten years you'll know where all that energy went! Anywho, here's a good sleep aid if all else fails. Run head first at top speed into, like, I dunno...a brick wall maybe? Always work fo me an I ha en't ad any pobolems as a ezult. Yaaaahhh...I'll pray for ya too.

Great! I didn't get in till 1:30 last night (I had a late morning class today) and when I got home, showered, and plopped, into bed, it was hardly a struggle to get to sleep. No tossing or turned, just sleeping Thanks for the prayer, guys. I always know I can count on you.

One other thing you might try is praying for people; individually, by name. Praying for all the people you know who need prayer. (In Jesus' Name... )
