            My soul is like a coconut
            It has a hardened shell
            That covers all my treasures
            My ability to dwell
            Within the beauty of my Spirit
            All He has for me
            Is governed by my soulish man
            Who will not set me free.

            I can choose to overthrow
            The power that is me
            By breaking through that toughened shell
            To find true liberty
            My Father's waiting for my call
            So He can aid my fight
            I want to have my Spirit man
            Released into the light.
