Hi, Learned One. Welcome to Christians Unite.

I saw the film. too. It was very nice; I liked the metaphors. And of course, Seabiscuit.

BTW, I must admit I'm intrigued by your screen name.

Is it a family movie?  Huh Would it be appropriate for all ages?

I haven't seen it and I don't like horse movies but if it's something the whole family can watch, I'll survive... Lips Sealed

Amen to that.  I never liked horse movies either.  Since I grew up on a ranch, we always spelled work; h-o-r-s-e.  But there are some animal movies I am particular to.  Especially those two with the REAL happy endings; in one the family ended up eating venison for supper, and the other where the family cat lived happily ever after?  You know the two I mean – “The Yearling” and “Ol’ Yeller”?  Now those were animal movies!  Cheesy

FYI - to keep with the subject of the thread (so I don’t make anyone’s head explode) - I did “See the Biscuit” – and in all honesty it wasn’t too bad, but I thought it ended too soon, (NO!  I don’t mean it was too short!), but then again, maybe I wasn’t tuned in to the ‘chick-flick’ aspect of the whole thing.  Roll Eyes

I was going to rent it but when my sister saw it she took one look at the name and laughed.  I didn't think that I would like it because it's a race horse.  But if you guys say it is good maybe then I can talk them into watching it.

ROFL! Actually, I LOVE horses! And I don't mind the w-o-r-k! Wink It's just the movies that bother me! Or maybe it was just 'Black Beauty'.... Lips Sealed It was too intense! Or maybe it was 'National Velvet' - it was too.... WAIT! It just may be because I've watched entirely too many horse movies!  Grin

(so I don’t make anyone’s head explode)

Oh please! No more exploding heads! Symphony made such a mess!  Tongue

Ooh! Does it have chick-flick aspects?  Cheesy Now it's sounding better.... I'm just having a hard time visualizing Spidey on a horse~ Tongue
