Yup, I need to raise about $23,000 for a new wheelchair accessible van.
Lots of people are praying and I'm sure the Lord will provide.

UPDATE:$45,000 total cost. $23,000 I need to raise independently. God has helped me raise more than $17,000. And the costs of the vehicle has come down quite a bit.  I have applied to 2 charities and am hoping to receive $7,500 from one and $15,000 from another. I will hear back in late November. Please pray with me that these charities accept my application for their funds.

AWESOME UPDATE:
I received the $7,500 from one of the charities!! God is good!
Bringing my total to about $28,000 raised.
I'm still waiting on a reply regarding $15,000 from another charity.
Please continue to pray with me that this charity will accept my application for their funds. And Glory be to God!

Hello Joshua,
I'm sorry that I missed your original prayer request, but I do know some about your health and have been praying for you. Your Brother David is a good friend to many of us here.
I am very happy to hear the great news. Now should be a great time to buy a van because of the economy. The trend is also to buy smaller cars that get great gas mileage, so vans are heavily discounted. I don't know if a mini-van would be large enough to handle what you need, but I did want to tell you some mini-vans also get great gas mileage. We have a Honda Odyssey that consistently gets around 25 miles per gallon in town and over 30 on the road. I'm almost sure there are other mini-vans that do equally well. I just wanted to mention this as an idea. Gas prices have come down for the time being, but who knows what the price will be next month or next year.
