OK, I believe this one may be harder than I thought. I will post it again here so others wont have to flip a page back to see it.
Me and my twin, belong to God
from years long past, we prod and prod.
We serve the Lord so faithfully,
because the Lord hath said it would be.
From our gaze of truth, no man can hide,
Only once was satisfied.
What am I?

(no buckshot answers this time cris....lol)
Oh no! I really do believe in the process of elimination - quickly!!!
Is it HEART and SOUL?
A clue, please. Is the answer two things or one - like OT and NT, Law and Prophets, heart and soul, etc. or just one thing ie. cross, sacrifice, etc.? Sorry, LOL. I'll be good from now on.

Yeah, a clue!
But when you put the clue up, can you put it in white font so you have to highlight it to see it?( For the newcomers).

Hey, don't do that - my highlight key doesn't work anymore!!
Gotta go - will be back in about 9 hours.
And, 2Tim while Whitehorse and I are trying to solve this riddle, here's one for you to be mulling over.
In what country is Mississippi Bay?

OK, I see whitehorse has asked for one also.
The first line is important.
Me and my twin, belong to God (its a pair, but can be said in one word.)
The second line is also important.
From
years long past
, we prod and prod (OT)
Me and my twin
, belong to God
from
years long past
, we prod and prod.
We serve the Lord so faithfully,
because the Lord hath said it would be.
From our gaze
of truth,
no man can hide
,
Only
once was satisfied
.
Everything in italics should be considered strongly.
Grace and Peace!
(I have a few other clues should you not figure it out).

Could it be---REBORN? That doesn't parallel the O and NT's though.
I'm thinking "gaze of truth" means the bible and "only once satisfied" is the debt Christ paid, once and for all.
I'm stumped. This is a difficult one.

Nope, not reborn.
LOL I'm lovin it <cue mcdonalds music>
Here's another clue.
Though not necessarily said in scripture, the twins I speak of represent God's Righteousness and Justice.

Correction on an earlier clue I gave.
Quote

Sorry this was not correct. Each one is defined separately, but add an "s" to the end to get plural.
