Whitehorse,

I had problems trying to get into CU last night also.  It kept saying error in advertising or something.  Then I got in and couldn't get to next page.  Tried with a different computer and the same thing happened so I figured the site itself was having problems.

Ok, Noah's Ark --- 411 days or maybe 371 days, depending on whether you count in the first 40 days into the first 150 days.

Ok, so what's the answer?

Hey Symphony, how long does it take for you to get your bible?   Grin

Hm; I thought it was 375, from the second month and 17th day of Noah's 600th year to the 2nd month and 27th day of his 601st year. Huh

You could be right.  I got my info from a book titled, Who's Who in the Bible.

Briefly, it rained for 40 days and nights.  Landscape was obliterated.  Waters covered the highest mountains.  Flood remained at full strength for 150 days then subsided.  It took another 150 days for the water to drop low enough for the ark to rest upon Ararat.  40 days passed before Noah released a raven which did not return.  A week later he released a dove which came back.  The next week he released a dove which returned with an olive branch in its mouth.  The following week he released a dove which didn't return.

Ok here's another------

New York. Liberty Island is at the entrance of New York Harbor.

Few people realize that the Statue of Liberty actually stands in New Jersey.  Bedloe's Island (renamed Liberty Island in 1956) sits in New York Harbor but is within Jersey City's waters.  It is only because of an 1834 compact that New York has any control over the island at all.  Sales taxes from the statue's concessions go to Albany, not to Trenton, as do non federal income taxes paid by the few families who live there.  The statue is a beacon, only because of New Jersey, since the island's power comes from a Jersey City utility.

What kind of an animal is the Koala?

I know these aren't scripture riddles but I'm not good at making up riddles and I don't have any scriptural ones.

So, what kind of an animal is the Koala?

Here's another------

What is greater than God
More evil than the devil
The poor have it
The rich need it
And if you eat it, you'll die?

The answer is 1 (one) word - seven letters long.
