John 14:13 says, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

When we pray to the Lord, we need to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, God the Son!  That may change our style olf praying and the results to those prayers!

Many are confused as to what "in Jesus' name" means. They think that by attaching the words "in Jesus' name" on the end of their prayer will get it answered. However, what those words mean is that the request must be according to Jesus' nature. Is it something for which He would pray? Would Jesus ask to win the lottery? Would He ask for other possessions? His prayers were always for others and for the will of the Father to be done. Still, how do we know what is or is not in God's will if we don't ask?
