Oh my gosh!  I have been all over my Bible today!  I had planned on taking a van load of women and children from the shelter to church, but when I went to get the key I discovered that the Men's Mission had borrowed our van before the weekend and had not returned our keys!  (Just like a man  Grin) The women that were to go with me, went with others and I stayed behind...hence the reason I had alot of time for reading this morning!  I started out finishing up 1,2 and 3 John and then Jude.  Jude led me to Numbers and the story of Balaam.  Then I ended up in Joel, which led me to start Revelation again.  I'm already in chaper 7!  It's been like a "treasure hunt" today!  So fun!

Hello GrammyLuv,

Sister, it sounds like you had a great day, regardless of the men hiding the keys.   Wink

Reference the Bible Study, it does get addictive, and it's the best kind of addiction there is. I understand perfectly what you mean by "Treasure Hunt". I think it's fascinating to follow the references and cross-references when doing a Study. It quickly illustrates one way the Bible proves itself. There is no chance involved when someone says that the entire Bible is woven together in a most marvelous way. The number of writers involved and the time span used to write the Bible would require the Supernatural Hand and WORDS of GOD to tie it all together. The Bible is PERFECT, so it has to be the WORD OF GOD! There's no other possible explanation.

It's also amazing that the help for all of man's problems is timeless. Everything is just as TRUE today as it was 2,000 years ago. In short, there's a lengthy list of why the Holy Bible is the Best Seller and Most Popular Book of all time. The biggest reason is "THE WORD" - JESUS CHRIST.

Nothing new under the sun!  ;D

Hello GrammyLuv,

This is really true and amazing. Just think, there's an ancient book that's the ultimate measuring stick for all TRUTH. YES, all of the problems of mankind can be solved with the HOLY BIBLE and faith in JESUS CHRIST.

GOD is the same yesterday, today, and forever. HIS WORD will endure forever. This is another reason why the Holy Bible is the most fascinating and amazing Book ever written. It was designed specifically by GOD to be timeless. After all, GOD is also timeless in Holy Perfection. For Christians, the same portion of Scripture can be read hundreds of times and there's probably something new revealed with each reading. It's also fascinating to understand the role of the Holy Spirit in helping us to understand the message GOD wants to give us. This is why it's always a good idea to Pray for understanding before every Bible Study. The first completed Bible was PERFECT. It's now been translated into just about every known language on the face of the earth. Regardless of language, it's still the most powerful message in existence. WHY?  -  IT'S GOD'S WORD! People are willing to die to get and keep this message. If anything - the POWER of this message has Grown over all these years. IT'S LIFE AND LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY!

The below is a message spoken by JESUS CHRIST to the Jews. It contains great Power, and it caused division among the Jews. The POWER of this message is GREATER than ever.

John 10:7-18 NASB  So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. "All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. "He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. "He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep. "I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. "For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. "No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father."

Love In Christ,
Tom

Not by the choice of people. It is by force and by inflated numbers. It was proven recently that when a census was taken that many muslims listed themselves as members of a number of different mosques thereby increasing the overall census totals. This is the same manner in which homosexuals have been doing in their rallies to make it look like they are a greater force than they actually are. Yes, they are increasing in numbers but not to the extent that it is made out to be.

The increase of islamist in the U.S. and Canada is primarily from immigration not because the religion itself is growing. Christianity is growing in these areas although not in substantial amounts. There is a large number of growth in Christianity in areas like China even though Christians are still highly persecuted there.
