I'm new here, and my name is Lorrie. I'm a christian author and I've written 2 books. One addresses lukewarm christianity, and the other is about spiritual warfare. GOD moved in a mighty way in my life 6 yrs. ago. I was healed of cancer, and panic attacks. I went from poverty to becoming an author writing books. I travel alot with my nursing career but my ministry comes first. GOD has showed me visons of my future and of pending disasters for America. I feel a great urgency to warm people before it's too late.

Hello Lorrie,

Welcome to Christians Unite forums.

We don't need to have visions in order to know that there are coming disasters as a result of God's judgment. Scriptures are quite clear on this matter, it is His word so it will be coming. Not just in America though, it will be coming to the entire world.

Whether those judgments will come today or whether they come a 1,000 yrs from now, getting the word out of God's saving grace is just as much of an urgency. (Yes, I do believe that it will be soon though.) There are those that are dying in their sins daily, dying without ever knowing the loving saving grace of God.

Welcome to the forums, Lorrie. I had hoped to be an author after retirement and even took a writing course for that, but I realized that I haven't lived anything that would enable me to write what people want to read. I wanted to write for children until I realized that I can't relate to children and have no idea what they like. I'm just not able to think at their level. I've always heard "Write what you know." Well, I know very little and nothing that would interest much of anyone. Also, I've always heard that without an agent you can't get published, and if you haven't been published no agent with bother with you.

When I told a friend that a good title for a book would be "The Wrath of a Loving God", he said I should write it. Even if I could, what would I do with it since no agent would waste his time with an unknown writer. What I did send in to a publisher got rejected. It was a nice dream but nothing more. How does an unknown get known in order to get published?
