           I am perfect in Your sight
           As me, You holy make
           So striving to be what You want
           Is one big, sad mistake
           If only I would take the time
           To learn Your great desire
           You'd fill me full of who You are
           And give me Holy fire.

           Your word is every thing I need
           To learn about Your ways
           And I am losing out, big time
           From You I tend to stray
           Give me a heart to find a way
           Of putting You ahead
           Of all my meaningless pursuits
           I need Your daily bread.

           I am perfect in Your sight
           I must respond to that
           To put You first in every way
           To wear the proper hat
           You have a purpose for my life
           Of what, I've no idea
           But if I come to live with You
           The fog will slowly clear.
