Brother Roger,

Thanks for the great and encouraging news about Jeremy. He and his family will remain in our prayers. When we think about our problems, we should remember Jeremy first. The most effective chemotherapy is very hard on a human  being, even a young and strong human being. I couldn't help but think about another young and strong man I watched go through this. They are very pleasant memories - he is HOME with the LORD.

I know I haven't been keeping anyone up to date on Jeremy for quite sometime. He seemed to be doing so well. We just got word that Jeremy had a turn for the worse today and was put on a ventilator. He had a bone marrow transplant this week but it didn't help, he went home about an hour ago. His mother doesn't know about it yet. We will be getting with the family shortly.

Yes, I'm sorry that I wasn't more clear. He is with the Lord now.

We spoke with the family for a short period last night. They had to go to St Louis then in order to claim the body and make arrangements to get him home. With the weather as it is it looks like they may be there a while.

Hello Pastor Roger,

Brother, this family will be in my prayers. I'm very sad to hear about this, but GOD knows best. As Christians, we can take heart in knowing that we will all be HOME soon. Our life and perfection is in CHRIST. We LIVE because CHRIST LIVES and know that GOD will finish the good work HE began in us. Absent from the body, present with the LORD.

O death, where is your sting?"  56  For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.  57  How we thank God, who gives us victory over sin and death through Jesus Christ our Lord!  58  So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
