Any Baltimore fans?  Looks like your kicking our behinds.  Mariners have lost the last two games to the Orioles.  Cry

Well with honesty being the best policy, the Mariners are 10-10 with themselves.  We've won 10 and lost 10.  Not too good.  But it's still early in the season!

How's your team doing?  I can't believe that I'm the only baseball fan on here.  But then.....maybe I am!  And if thats the case, I'm happy have a running dialog with myself.  I do it all the time anyway!

Hello GrammyLuv,

Sister Yvette, there has to be a ton of baseball fans somewhere. Those guys sure do make a ton of money. I do feel bad that other baseball fans haven't joined you here. Maybe they just don't know about the discussion. I guess that I was somewhat of a baseball fan when I was much younger, but I doubt you want to talk about Mickey Mantle.   Wink  NOW, I fully expect someone to make this much worse and replace the name I gave with someone like Babe Ruth.

Mickey who?  And isn't Babe Ruth a candy bar?    Grin Grin Grin

The earliest I remember is the early 70's when I had a highschool crush on Catfish Hunter, pitcher for the Oakland A's.  That's when I first got interested in the game!

Okay, so the first two were WAY before my time, but even so if you were a highschool girl which one would you fall for?  Grin

Hello Grammyluv,

Sister Yvette, for some reason - I'm having a real hard time imagining myself as a highschool girl.   Grin   Grin   I'll try again later.

I think that I will pass on even trying to imagine that. The vision would be horrendous!

Well my boys are killing me slowly....
We went 22 innings without a run.  Broke that streak tonight (yes, I was there!) but we still lost 4-2 Chicago.  Drat. And double-drat.  I'm not so sure we can recover, but hey....it's baseball....I love the game....and I love the Mariners.  Win or lose....I'm a fan!

Am I "painfully" honest or what??  But then you haven't heard any of my fishing stories yet!
