Prolly in response to the violence  Tongue

You said:
Yes, Idependent came into Broken's prayer request thread and tried to dish her faith. So I gave him a right! And then a left! Upper-cut! Then a cross like this!!! And then I dumped a bowl of stale, cold chocolate fondue on his head!!!

It was glorious.

But I especially like that final blow....
(...and then Ray banned him.)

In the summer of 2002 threads on scriptural nudity and nakedness were prevalent in the forum. Those responsible for their start were eventually banned.

Then there was the troll attack from a group at urban 75.com in the fall of 2002 along with the OSAS and OSNAS debate.

Then in early summer of 2003 the forum was put upon by a great many of the orthodox persuasion.

There was "team b member" who seemed as though he was searching for the truth but just could not quite get to it.
Is he here now under another name? It does not seem as if anyone posts in his style of writing.

my angelic side was just responding to the, um, fondue altercation, Whitehorse... Grin  (plus, chocolate--or anykind of--fondue does sound delish right about now...)  (what do I dunk in chocolate fondue...?  Embarrassed)

Well..... I remember back in the good old days   Symphony was a lot less grouchy and he was a lot of fun to post verses with and Jap Emp was more laid back before he got pounced upon so much and he was a lot less cynical and Early57 was a worthy opponent and had me scrambling for Scripture and Stompie taught me a thing or two about living for Christ and nekky folks brought in some chill bumps and SherBear was abducted by aliens and Ray had to put up with an awful lot.

So is that what you mean?

Oklahoma Howdy to Brother Ollie and All,

I think that we had two or three attempts of proclaimed Christian Nudists trying to post in just the last 6 months. I don't think that ADMIN saw in humor in that at all. They may have been gone before many even knew they were here.

Quite a few other varieties had messages deleted before anyone saw them, and ADMIN had them banned on their first log in. Most of those involved very vulgar and obscene messages, some even involving graphic displays.

Let me see if I remember correctly. Son of Aslan and three or four others who seemed to be talking to someone who was never on the board, right?

Is he here now under another name? It does not seem as if anyone posts in his style of writing.

Right before the Evolution Board was removed, there was a person using the handle "Underground". Underground's last post in the Evolution Board was labeled "Team B".

I might add that we have recently survived several fairly well planned attacks by trolls. A couple of groups posted obscene material and were thankfully banned before many people saw their messages. There were also a couple of groups of trolls who stayed on the board for quite some time. There was quite a bit of deleting and modifying going on to keep them here for a while, but ADMIN finally had enough and all of the Christians cheeks were slapped raw before they were deported. RK, Eyeball, Longdog, and a couple of others were one of the groups. I think they planned to feed most of us to the lions, but they got eaten instead.   Cheesy

I think that Christians Unite survived 2003. I give thanks for the many prayers that have been given here, many who were helped by God that we may or may not know about, some who were pointed to Christ here, and the friendships and Christian fellowship that God has nourished here. I also give thanks to ADMIN for providing our place of fellowship. God gave us second and third chances to mend broken or bent fences, and we all grew in Christ.

Thanks be unto God for HIS unspeakable GIFT.

Love In Christ,
Tom
