Luke 14:12-14 says, "Then said He also to him that bade Him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbors; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind;

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee;  for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just."

I visit nursing homes, pass out Christian literature, and witness to the patients there.  When I do so, I remember the above verses.  Visit the poor, the sick, and all those who are less unfortunate than I am.  I love visiting those senior citizens who are neglected and shunned by society and the church.

I am very glad you visit nursing homes.  I'll bet that a lot of folks without families nearby are happy to have a visitor.  God bless you!

Beloved Father God,
Help me befriend those who are lonely,
Help me comfort those who are hurting,
Help me do battle against the darkness,
And help me lead the way to You.
In Jesus' name, amen.

I know nowadays in most of the world there are Home & and these people are not well treated
But those who paid are well treated
when a christian went to visit a home, He brought Jesus there
My request is that is our duty to visit these person
we can bring to them the good news
share the love of Jesus to them
They need to be repent & that they may have heaven
Jesus loves them
when we visited this person we do received their blessings Amen
