Mainland China

My wife and I just returned to the Philippines from mainland China.We spent 6 months there. It was a real eye opening experience for us. Open worship of God is strictly prohibited by the government of China. To purchase a Bible you MUST register your name and complete address first. Later you you be visited by the police and have your Bible confiscated .

While there we had many people come to us and ask us to tell them about Jesus. God is very much alive in China and working in the underground church. Please pray for the people there.As God provides, we will do more here in the Philippines as well as China.

My prayers are with you in your ministry. It is difficult for people there and many do not realize how blessed they are to be able to worship God without fear of that sort of persecution. They take that liberty for granted without giving it a thought and without thanking God for His wonderful grace for having that liberty.

There are those even in the free world that would have our liberties taken from us to the extent or worse than it is in China. We should all thank God for the freedoms that we have and to do His work while the day is still with us.
