:(I have quite severe eczema that no matter what creams and ointment etc. I use doesent seem to help much.  My biggest problem at present is keeping my face clear of marks.  Part of my problem is habit, So used scratching that I scratch when I shouldent or maybe sometimes have no real need to.  i am thinking now about acupuncture.  This idea comes from reading a book on eczema.  Please pray that I will find a solution to my problems.

Hi Anna:

I do not suffer from Eczema but know it can be very irritating and cause scarring.

I will pray for you.

Love in Christ, Eva

I don't know about Eczema but I do have psoriasis and sometimes it gets real bad.  Winters tend to be pretty rough times.  I have found that the tanning beds really help me keep it under control.  Right now this winter I just have small break outs on my elbows and one wrist.  Grin
I have a draw full and I do mean FULL of prescription creams and ointments.  I have tried every home remedy also, but the tanning beds help the most with using some ointment also.
It itches like the dickens also.  I've made myself bleed at times from scratching so hard trying to get down the itch!
Poor thing.  I feel for ya.  Wink

I will pray for you. I know what you are going through. I have had Eczema since I was a child. I used to bleed on all my fingers and feet. My mama would lay me on the couch and put cortisone cream on it. There would be days where I could not walk it was bad. Aloe leaf can be applied for the itching.

It is hard to clear up even with cortisone cream. Try to avoid soaps that have a lot salt or fragrance in them. I used to surf a little when I lived in California and by the time I came out of the ocean my hands were prunes as well as bleeding. lol Smiley

What also works well is Aveno oatmeal soap for the face and body. Anything with oatmeal can sooth your skin and keep it from itching. You will be in my prayers, God Bless.....
