Thank you both for your replies, as I said before I really do not want to cause any hard feelings here nor anywhere. I thank the Lord for His endwelling "Holy Spirit" and giving me the conviction to try and set things right as soon as I possibly can.

I am just a simple country brother in Christ, I have no training other than what the US Army taught me back in '65 in the Engineers and went to Viet-Nam, and am now disabled since '75.

With this said, this subject can now be put to rest.  thank you both and God Bless

That is an Intel device that is no longer being supported. There are som web sites that still carry drivers for unsupported video cards. Give me a little to see if I can find one.

Thanks PR!  You're the best!  If you can't though, it's okay.  Maybe I'll get some Christmas money to get a new card..

I didn't find a driver for it. What I did find was that was not a very popular card. It had a lot of problems with it and was soon replaced. The generic drivers provided by MS don't work well with it either, only allowing it to partially work.

That was pretty much my conclusion.  Drat.  Well thanks for all your help!
And thank you also DreamWeaver and Workinginprogress.  At least I learned some things about my computer that I didn't know before and how to maneuver around in there!  Grin

It's been awhile but I've needed one of those air bags. I wonder if it can be set to go off when a person falls asleep at the computer? It would be a big help in preventing keyboard imprints in the forehead.

Same here,  only way I find to stay awake and avoid the airbag is to suspend the keyboard from the ceiling.

Merry Christmas to all. and may God bless us all with a very blessed New Year.

I was looking into some of my old favorite websites for drivers and I happened upon this site
 Free-Codecs.com : Download Ligos Indeo Codec 5.11 : Video codecs ...
maybe  check it out and see iff this may work.

Dave H

Embarrassed I just tryed the link and it didn't go to where it should have. I'll try again to put the link in here.

http://www.free-codecs.com/Indeo_Codec_download.htm

if that don't work may try typing in the address.

Thanks Dave!  I think I've already tried that one and it didn't work.  I'll check it out when I get home. (I'm at work right now).
And have a very Merry Christmas yourself!!  Grin

I see that you have one of those modern computers with an air-bag. All I have is seat-belts with mine. I wish that I could help you, but it appears that all of the good advice has already been given. I can offer two cents worth if you wind up getting a new video card. The cost of video cards has gone way down, especially if you get one that is middle of the road - NOT state of the art. The best supported standard right now appears to be Nvidia Geforce. If you get a 128 Meg card, that would represent a lower middle of the road choice that has outstanding support. I'll guess that you might be able to get one for under $70.

In the meantime:

I am happy to report that I treated myself to a new game card.  I'd have to look at the box to tell you what it is.  The Geek Squad at Best Buy put it in for me and all I know is that I'm able to play my silly Frogger games again!  I told my family it was either a new game card or start dating!  Grammy needs something to do!  Wouldn't matter what they said though, at this time I chose the game card!!   Grin Grin Grin
I won't have internet though until I get in my new apartment, but I will be able to take back over my Bible Triva thread after March 1st because I will have internet here at the mish.
Maybe we should put it to a vote though.  Pastor Roger is doing a might fine job with it.  I'll let you all decide and PR, put your input in too!
Love you all bunches!
