God is love (1 John 4:Cool.  Therefore, to have faith in God is to have faith in God’s unconditional love which enabled Him to offer His life as a sacrifice for those who hurt Him and were unfaithful to Him.  To have faith in His love does not mean that we merely know that He died for our sins (because even the devil knows that), but to put His love into practice; because, James (James 2:26) tell us that faith without works is dead faith. Furthermore, the scriptures tell us that love is above faith (1 Corinthians 13:2); love brings forgiveness of sins (1 Peter 4:8; Luke 7:47); acts of love are necessary in order to enter heaven (Matthew 25: 33-35); and forgive others in order to receive forgiveness (Luke 6:37).

Therefore, is love above faith?

God stayed faithful to His promise although we were unfaithful to Him, betrayed Him and killed Him. He expressed it by accepting death in order to compensate for our sins. Furthermore, He commands us to love one another in a similar manner (Jn 13:34).

No. It is faith that saves us. Love is the fruit of the spirit which comes by faith not works for how can we truly love until we first believe and truly experience the love of the Holy Spirit within us.

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Luk 17:19  And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Luk 18:42  And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Act 15:9  And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Joh 9:4  I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Hi and in 1 Cor 13:13 it reads  , And now remains    faith   , hope    love    , these 3  things ,   but    ( the  )     greatest od these  ( is ) love  !!

Why , because , when Christ comes back our   faith   and   hope   will  be made sight !!
