Storms are an inevitable fact of life. We all will face extremely difficult seasons of life. They vary in form and nature, but all have similar principles to them. Most people often get so encapsolated by what is happening they cannot see anything else around them. We get stuck looking on the surface of the storm where the destruction is at a premium, but there is so much to gain from our storms if we would just begin to dive into the depths of it. Do you realize that the calmest place of a hurricane or tornado is in the dead center of the storm. Did you also know the it has be said that the best time to look in the ocean for a lost wreck or treasure is after a storm. The reason being is that the storm causes everything to be stirred and moved and therefore often unearths treasures that were burried under the sea floor.

It is important that when the storms of life come that we do not get caught up in whats happening at the surface, but are our eyes to look deeper to see what God is trying to unearth in us. The storms of life often come to get us to change direction, and are actually intended for us to look less at the situation and more on God. He is our Lighthouse

It is also NOT the storms of life that dictate the direction our lives go, but our direction is affected by our reaction to the storm. Will we get caught in the awe of what is happening or will we look deeper to see what God is unearthing by the process. Remember there is always a treasure to be found in the storms of life. Some may be greater then others, but there will always be something valuable to be found. The choice is totally ours...will we look deeper for those things, or just get caught up in the fierceness of the storm and fold???...........

Remember that tho the storms of life may rage & stir things up, cause chaos and at times many hurts, etc...In the end, It can unearth the most beautiful of treasure! Keep Holding on to Jesus thru the storm & He will indeed show you the beauty of life after its all settled & peaceful, Its His Plan!
