Which Gospel would you like sister? Beelzebub is mentioned 7 times in the Gospels that I know of........

Statistically, when people give 3 choices, they usually try to hide the correct answer in the midst of the group.  That said, my money's on Zephaniah.

LOL, now that I've got Grammyluv flustered about how she orders her choices, I must admit that my statement was in jest, a postulate at best.     Statistics was an interesting class, but it kicked me around more than I liked.  It didn't help that I got sick that semester either.  Maybe I should go back through her posts on this thread and see if my statement is true.  Have a good day to everyone.  Thankfully Grammyluv can't rain hot coals on my head, although she does pray to the One who could.

Well you are right.  The answer is always in one of the books I give as choices but it's not always the "middle" one! lol!
Missed you being on here as you are always intertaining. 
 Just an FYI baseball is coming to a close and football is starting.  I'm not a fan of football.  Baseball is where my heart lies.  So any football analogies from you in this season may go over my head!  I actually do know some about the game but it bores me.

Football... are you talking about soccer people kick or that brown leather ball people kill themselves trying to move around a field?  No pain, no gain.

Now Grammyluv, NFL style football does take strenuous work and brilliant strategy to pull off.  Baseball is simple, you just hit a ball with a stick and run.  Having read some of your posts here, I believe you have a noggin that is not just a hat rack.    I believe you would make a good armchair football strategist if given the chance.

I have yet to find a job, but I have been busy looking for one, and using my time wisely at my church.  We just had a summer evening outreach concert.  Our pastor's son is a finger pickin' guitarist who enjoys playing Chet Atkins style music.  We had quite a few people come, and 49 people filled out our response cards.  I'm working on planning for our Fall Harvest Fest on October 25 this year.  I'm looking for fun but educational ideas.  If you might know of any, please start a thread in case other Christians are searching for ideas.

I have also been busy researching Rick Warren and the Emergent Church.  I felt challenged to after some discussions here on this forum.  Please pray for me in this endeavor.  It has scared me how far this emerging evil has progressed.  I will post or email people my work when I'm done.

As always, you are a delight.  Your church sounds like a lot of fun.  I love churches that offer fun activities for families!

I actually had a game called Armchair Quarterback and that is how I learned alot of the game.  It is not a bad game, just seems to be more huddling than playing.  While there does seem to be some wrestling involved, maybe combining some kick boxing would give it some more flavor!  However being the sports fan that I am, I will certainly be rooting for our Seahawks.  My daugher is a Chicago Bears fan.  Her team usually does better than mine.  Oh well.......

And yes!  Amos 3:12 is correct!  No time to post another question as I have to get ready for work.  Praise our Good Lord for Fridays! (That would be Tuesdays for the rest of you!)

Let's not diss football now. I owe a lot to football. In fact you could say I owe my life to football as well as the mercy of the Lord. You see I was always the smallest one in my grade level. I would have to play football in gym class against some very large guys that showed no mercy. In order to avoid bruises, broken bones and be able to keep my brains from being turned to mush I had to learn how to sidestep those big guys, how to jump over them, how to take them down without being taken down and how to run very, very fast away from them when the rest didn't work. My motto was "No Pain, Was Gain".    All really good techniques that paid off during my time in the Navy.
