Could it be... the lady in the passage of Acts 9:36-41... a pious Christian widow at Joppa whom Peter restored to life (Acts 9:36-41)
She was a Hellenistic Jewess, called Tabitha by the Jews and Dorcas by the Greeks.
And I thought Tabitha was a lady who twitched her nose

There is only one name but rather two interpretations of the same name. Tabitha which also means Dorcas.
Act 9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

It is located in Damascus, Syria. The streets of Damascus were originally designed in a grid pattern. Under Roman rule this street was widened and straightened and turned into a colonnade street. Some of these columns of the colonnade are still in place. During Roman rule it was approx. 85 ft wide and was lined with shops on the covered porches of the buildings. Today it is much narrower due to buildings being added or replaced with ones of different size and the street is not as straight today as it was then.

If the bases are loaded, and with one swing of the bat 3 are brought home what is the name of the batter?
(Not a Bible Triva question)

No takers on this one?? Well I don't know the answer either but I'm sure hoping that it's a Mariner because my grandson and I are GOING TO THE GAME TODAY!! WHOO HOO!
We are playing the Twins which is the director of the mission's team, since that is where he is from originally. He's a pretty cool dude and well liked, but I'd sure like to have 'bragging rights"!

I know it's just a reference to a ball being tossed (a foul ball at that), but isn't that what baseball is, tossing a ball...
