 Joab

(2Sa 18:20 KJVR)  And Joab said unto him, Thou shalt not bear tidings this day, but thou shalt bear tidings another day: but this day thou shalt bear no tidings, because the king's son is dead.

(2Sa 18:21 KJVR)  Then said Joab to Cushi, Go tell the king what thou hast seen. And Cushi bowed himself unto Joab, and ran.

In Revelation, where did the voice proclaiming the new heaven and earth come from?

Heaven

(Rev 21:3 KJVR)  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

(Rev 21:1 KJVR)  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

(Rev 21:2 KJVR)  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Rev 21:3 KJVR)  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

(Rev 21:4 KJVR)  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

(Rev 21:5 KJVR)  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

When I managed to find the phrase " new heaven and a new earth" in Revelations chp. 21.  I didn't even think of the throne. What came to my attention was verse 3: where John said "I heard a great voice out of heaven" and I stopped reading so to speak, which is not a good thing, as after your post with the answer you were looking for I finished reading the rest of 21 and sure enough right there in 21:5 is "he that sat upon the throne said".

But as you said the throne is in heaven, so I can say thank you Lord for your precious words whether it comes from your great throne or right out of your wonderful home in heaven, which all who trust and obey will be our home one day too.

In Christian love.

What Old Testament prophet mentions the Lord's "book of remembrance"?

(Ezekiel, Malachi, Nehemiah)

Answer:  Malachi

Malachi 3:16 -Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Hi guys!  Sorry.  Not feeling well tonight and I have a class to prepare for.  (I'd rather curl up in bed, truth be told.)
So all that to say no post tonight.  Forgot my book, cause my head is clogged.  We'll have to see what tomorrow holds.

In Christ,

Answer:   Claudius Lysias

Acts23:25-27

 25.  And he wrote a letter after this manner:

 26.  Claudius Lysias unto the most excellent governor Felix sendeth greeting.

 27.  This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
