Thank you workinprogress. I wonder; if Manoah means "rest" or "quiet", what does Noah mean?
You are welcome I thank the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to partake in this section of "ChristiansUnite Forum" It is such a blessing to be able to partake in your "Bible Triva"; it surely does help one in increasing their knowledge of the Lord's written word. Now as for the meaning of "Noah" I find in the "Strong's (Hebrew & Greek) Concordance this meaning, which I would venture to say is where the meaning of "Manoah" derived from. "Noah" H5146 נח nôach no'-akh The same as H5118; rest; Noach, the patriarch of the flood: - Noah. "Manoah" H4494 מנוח mânôach maw-no'-akh From H5117; quiet, that is, (concretely) a settled spot, or (figuratively) a home: - (place of) rest. H5117נוּח nûach noo'-akh A primitive root; to rest, that is, settle down; used in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, intransitively, transitively and causatively (to dwell, stay, let fall, place, let alone, withdraw, give comfort, etc.): - cease, be confederate, lay, let down, (be) quiet, remain, (cause to, be at, give, have, make to) rest, set down. Compare H3241. H4495 מנוח mânôach maw-no'-akh The same as H4494; rest; Manoach, an Israelite: - Manoah.

Revelations 21:12 Its walls were broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates.
So 12 angels

You get two questions today! But.... no hints on the books to look in... 1) Which Gospel says that an angel rolled away the stone from Jesus' tomb?
2) At the end of time, what will an angel bind Satan with?

Matthew 28
1 Early on Sunday morning,* as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to see the tomb. 2 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, because an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled aside the stone and sat on it.
chains
Revelations 20
1 Then I saw an angel come down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon—that old serpent, the Devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a thousand years. 3 The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he would be released again for a little while.

I did that in 1986. oh oh ... you meant in the Bible. It was Elijah 1Ki 18:44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. 1Ki 18:45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 1Ki 18:46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Since I took such an easy one, I will leave a question in it's place.
What king had the first birthday party in the Bible?
( 1 Kings, Genesis, Matthew )
