Yes Paul does call himself an Apostle at the start of 9 different letters. It is in Acts 9 though where we see that Christ has called him to be an Apostle.

Act 9:11  And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
Act 9:12  And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
Act 9:13  Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
Act 9:14  And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
Act 9:15  But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

The " Weeping Prophet," Jeremiah

Jeremiah 48:28 O you inhabitants of Moab, leave the cities and dwell among the rocks, and be like the dove that makes her nest in the walls of the yawning ravine.

What can I say, I got bored. Undecided

You're cracking me up smalls!  And yes, you obviously are the winner today!

Well another reason I don't post much in this thread sister, is to keep my post count down.

Huh Why does that matter???

It has been awhile since I  last posted  here, but I do visit quite often and truly enjoy reading the posts here through out the forum.

The "Lord" sure works in mysterious ways, as this question was asked by our Pastor just a few days back.
Anyway I believe this is the answer you are looking for.

Keep up this post, I think that the more our Christians start viewing this, more may like to join in too.

(Act 1:26 KJV)  And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Hi Workinprogress!  Nice to meet cha!

Are you all missing me?

It looks like all you guys found a way to entertain yourselves today while I was hard at work.  Grin
Actually when you're doing something that you were called to do and LOVE doing, it's not really work.  The past two days I could hardly wait to get to the mission.  I'm having a blast!!  Grin Grin
And I'm missing you guys too!  I don't get to get on the computer like I did at Microsoft, so I just have a few moments in the morning and then a bit again at night.

I think I'll cruise the forums and see what else you guys have been up to today.  Cheesy

Zechariah 9:9  Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

-(2Ki 8:15 ASV)  And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took the coverlet, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

Those who weep now.

Luke 6:21  Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

Thank you,

Good job on that last one, Eva!  xxxooo

I was already to post a new question this morning but I see this one wasn't answered yet.  Oh my goodness sakes!
I will leave this one up for another day and if not answered I will give the answer tomorrow morning and post a new question.
