Gay channel Logo launches weekly newscast
By Paul J. Gough Tue Nov 6, 2:35 AM ET
NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Gay-lesbian network Logo is moving into the network news business, planning to televise a half-hour weekly newscast produced by CBS News.
"CBS News on Logo" will premiere next Monday at 7 p.m. EST. The newscast stems from a two-year partnership between the MTV Networks channel and CBS News. A dedicated CBS News crew working out of its West 57th Street broadcast center had been producing three-minute interstitials that aired daily on Logo.
Those interstitials will be replaced by the half-hour newscast.
Brian Graden, Logo president and president of MTV Networks Music Group Entertainment, said Monday that Logo had gotten to the point where it had the distribution and roster of advertisers to take things to another level.
"It seemed like there was enough news to sustain that (half-hour) format and then some, and that the audience had a concentrated interest" a year out from the 2008 general elections, Graden said. He didn't rule out further news programming based on how things go.
The new show will focus on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues including the 2008 election, HIV/AIDs and entertainment, sports and science news. The newscast will be available on a Logo-owned Website.

Boy is this thing ever snowballing. Car ads, tv shows, news, gay pride posters at work......
I even saw last night on the news where a lesbian couple was voted "cutest couple" for their high school yearbook! Actually that was on Bill O'Rielly I think.

Except for the faithfull, sanctified by the Christ, lifted up and away from it in modern times. Not true for the Sodom of old.
Stay seperated and holy unto God.

I believe that this is another deception on satin part to make it more appalling to others. God says it is wrong, look at Sodom and Gomorrah and either God will have to apologies to them or the united states is in for a great problems the wild fires is a start and the hurricane is another wake up call as well. and miller brewing co is in satins corner. The Catholic Church has it on the head. The Catholic church was the first to go against abortion, and the gays and lesbian's and they were the first to call for a boycot against miller brewing for a billboard on the last Supper with Christ Jesus,
I have been in prayer that God will deal with miller and take there money and stocks and make it worthless. This sounds harsh we reality should be in prayer for the sinner and not on the sin itself, even Christ Jesus ate with the sinners, I my be wrong in my persecution of miller and should pray that they see they are wrong in what they are sponsoring what they did. and we should be praying that CBS and MTV are also wrong and will change there way of thinking as well. and pray that they see there sin and repent on it. My flash wants to percuter them but I have to stop and think that I to need to repent on my thoughts as well, Jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone. hate the sin but love the sinner. and let God do the punishment. for we all have fallen short of the Glory of God, and this is why God sent His Son Christ Jesus to the cross for us.
thank you

Be advised that we do not do denominations here, especially so of the teachings of the Catholic church. The Bible and the Body of Christ is what is of importance not any man made labels such as denominations or man made doctrines.
Since you brought it up let's look at the truth of the matter. Abortion was taught against long before the formation of the Catholic church. The Catholic church has flip flopped on this issue down through the years, sometimes allowing it up to 40 days, 80 days, .... claiming that the soul does not enter the fetus until that time. This was as early as the second century. The Bible however has always been against it.
The first group to bring attention to the atrocious gay last supper was Concerned Women for America an organization associated with Christian Coalition whose co-founder is Timothy LaHaye. Other groups, such as the American Family Association (AFA) and the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, joined in afterwards.

Brothers and Sisters,
I just never cease to be amazed about how fast evil is spreading even in this part of the world. I say "this part of the world" because most of the world is ALREADY MUCH worse.
There doesn't appear to be any way to stop it, but we might be able to slow it down. I do believe these are the last days of this Age of Grace, so Bible Prophecy tells us these things will most definitely happen.
Christians won't win these battles, but we should try. Our LORD and SAVIOUR will win the war in an overwhelming manner at HIS SECOND COMING. In the meantime, Christians don't have any excuse to sit down and be silent. NOW more than ever, we MUST NOT be ashamed of the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD! This is still the most powerful message in human existence, and people are still accepting CHRIST. Brothers and Sisters, we MUST also NEVER DENY JESUS CHRIST, regardless of what danger or persecution we might face. HE died on the CROSS for us, and HIS blood has washed our sins away. This lost and dying world is desperate for this precious message right now. Many are still accepting CHRIST and being rescued from the curse of sin and death. It is a reasonable service for us to yield ourselves to GOD'S Use until HE comes to take us home.
Please remember that it's cruel to withhold the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD from the lost. We know where they are going, and the least we can do is give them the TRUTH that can save them. This is GOD'S TRUTH, and we are saved because it was given to us. Faith still comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD OF GOD. We were all on our way to Hell at one time, but GOD'S GOOD NEWS rescued us. JESUS CHRIST died on the CROSS to provide a way for our Salvation, and this is the BEST GOOD NEWS in history. Many sweet Christians have given their lives to give this GOOD NEWS around the world. Loving others means that we will continue to give the GOOD NEWS.
Love In Christ,
Tom
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable GIFT, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour Forever!

GOOD NEWS!
1:
Romans 3:10 NASB as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."
2:
Romans 3:23 NASB for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
3:
Romans 5:12 NASB Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--
4:
Romans 6:23 NASB For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5:
Romans 1:18 NASB For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
6:
Romans 3:20 NASB because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
7:
Romans 3:27 NASB Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
8: Romans 5:8-9 NASB But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
9:
Romans 2:4 NASB Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
10:
Romans 3:22 NASB even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
11:
Romans 3:28 NASB For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
12: Romans 10:9 NASB that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
13:
Romans 4:21 NASB and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
14:
Romans 4:24 NASB but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,
15:
Romans 5:1 NASB Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
16: Romans 10:10 NASB for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
17: Romans 10:13 NASB for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

Speaking of the state of the world I was reading Psalms on the bus today and came across this that I thought was so interesting because it is talking about the world TODAY....
Psalm 2:1-6
Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stand
and the rulers gather together against the Lord
and against his Anointed One.
"Let us break their chains," they say,
"and throw off their fetters."
The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
Then he rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath,
saying,
"I have installed my King
on Zion, my holy hill."
(NIV)
I have a copy of The Way, the bible I carried in high school when we were called "Jesus Freaks", and it says it like this:
What fools the nations are to rage against the Lord! How strange that men should try to outwit God! For a summit conference of the nations has been called to plot against the Lord and his Messiah, Christ the King. "Come, let us break his chains," they say, "and free ourselves from all this slavery to God."
But God in heaven merely laughs! He is amused by all their puny plans. And then in fierce fury he rebukes them and fills them with fear.
For the Lord declares, "This is the King of my choice, and I have enthroned him in Jerusalem, my holy city."
Isn't this EXACTLY what is happening now? And I just love the part about "God just laughs and is amused by their
puny
plans!
Oh that God! I think he has the same sarcastic humor that I do!
