It is pleasant to hear that from an American, Brother Tom. America isn't special in any way and will get equal share in God's judgement.

Actually, according to the principal that "unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required" (Lk 16:28; cf. Rm. 2), we will be more severely judged, as we have overall been more enlightened, yet have increasingly counted the law of a God a strange thing (cf. Hos. 8:12) and done despite unto the spirit of grace (Heb. 10:29). And are putting off the Lord Jesus to make provision for the flesh, to fuflil the lusts thereof (contra Rm. 13:21), and are reaping the fruits thereof. And "we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things" (Rm. 2:2).
And America's war against God is costing us greatly, in both souls and money:
http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/RevealingStatistics.html
Yet young people, though much skeptical and increasingly atheistic ("children in whom is no faith" - dt. 32:20) and rebellious, are yet searching. and whom much of the evang. church is largely ignoring, not reaching out to them where they are and can be. And this present windows of opportunity will not last long. Pray ye therefore...

hello daniel1212av,
Are you saying that as a nation the U.S. has been more enlightened that others? There are many other nations that also have a very rich Christian heritage and yet they are also slipping away from it and quite rapidly in the same manner as America is.
Did you know that Canada's official motto is from Psalms 72:8, “He shall have dominion from sea to sea.” Before the fall of 1983, July 1 was called “Dominion Day” which was a recognition of the sovereignty of God. On October 27, 1982 the Canadian Parliament changed the name to “Canada Day.”
Canada’s coat of arms, adopted in 1921, stands upon the Latin phrase “A Mari Usque Ad Mare,” which when translated means “from sea to sea” a reference to Psalms 72:8.
Much of the Canadian educational system was developed based on Christianity just as it was in the U.S.
The Canadian Bill of Rights begins with, “The Parliament of Canada, affirming that the Canadian Nation is founded upon principles that acknowledge the supremacy of God…”
There is currently a movement within Canada that is attempting to take it back to it's Christian roots because of the very statistics that is given in your link for America that also applies to Canada.
If we do just a very little bit of research we can also find that this same thing is true in other nations such as Australia.
The main point here is that the U.S. is not nor was it ever anything more special that any of these other nations, that America for one reason or another will be insignificant in the end times to not warrant being mentioned in the Bible and it will be judged the same as the rest of these nations.
The war against God is not just "America's war against God" but rather a war that encompasses this entire world and stretches way beyond even that.

Hello Brother David and All,
I firmly believe in a very simple Biblical principle: if there is any Glory, ALL GLORY goes to GOD. I also firmly believe this principle SHOULD apply to individuals, groups, and any collection of people. Likewise, individuals, groups, and any collection of people SHOULD Honor, Worship, and Love ALMIGHTY GOD with all of their hearts.
I'm not aware of a single nation in this world that even Honors ALMIGHTY GOD, much less Worships HIM, Loves HIM, and gives HIM all the GLORY. In fact, the opposite end of the scale is more accurate until you get down to talking about individual Christians and groups of Christians. If one talks about nations, the nations hate, reject, mock, and disobey GOD much like they did in the days before Noah and the great Flood. This world is a sad and evil place, and it's getting worse by the day. If we tried to compare nations, I think we would be comparing which nations hate, mock, reject, and disobey GOD the worst.
THIS EVIL WORLD IS RIPE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD!
If any individual or group has ANY GOODNESS, it came from GOD - SO GOD gets all the GLORY. There are no individuals or groups with reasons to GLORY in themselves. However, there are popular so-called religions that do attempt to glory in man - not GOD. It's fair to say that these so-called religions are growing rapidly right now and are taking over the world. The Holy Bible tells us that they won't be glorying in themselves for long. The time will come when ALMIGHTY GOD will take ALL that is HIS, and I honestly believe that time is growing near. FIRST, evil mankind and their master the devil will be given 7 years to explore the depths of evil and what evil brings. It will be a time of the greatest terror, horror, and bloodshed that man has ever known, and ONLY ALMIGHTY GOD will be able to bring the time to an end.
THE ONLY KING OF KINGS WILL MAKE PEACE AND RULE, BUT 75% OF THE WORLD POPULATION WILL DIE FIRST!
Brothers and Sisters, it should be a matter of shame in how our individual nations Love, Honor, Worship, and Obey ALMIGHTY GOD! There is NO GLORY for GOD from how our individual nations treat HIM. The Holy Bible does speak briefly about blessings to nations but much more about blessings to individuals. ONLY a nation whose GOD is the LORD will be blessed. It now becomes a matter of interpreting that. Bluntly, my opinion is that ALL nations deserve NOTHING but damnation and destruction. Israel will be dealt with separately because of GOD'S Specific Promises to Israel, not because of anything that Israel actually deserves.
NOW, let's talk about individuals again. If ALL individuals got what they deserved, ALL would be damned to the eternal fires of hell. HOWEVER, JESUS CHRIST died on the CROSS and took the penalty for our sins in HIS OWN Precious and HOLY BODY. Those who BELIEVE and accept JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR have been rescued. We have actually been made MEMBERS of HIS BODY, and there is NO CONDEMNATION for those who are IN CHRIST! This is NOT anything that individual Christians deserve, rather a GIFT from GOD in HIS GRACE and HIS LOVE for us.
FOR CHRISTIANS, ALL GLORY DOES BELONG TO GOD - NONE TO MAN!
If there is any GLORY, let us GLORY in the Precious NAME OF JESUS CHRIST -
OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR FOREVER!
Love In Christ,
Tom

GOOD NEWS!
1:
Romans 3:10 NASB as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."
2:
Romans 3:23 NASB for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
3:
Romans 5:12 NASB Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--
4:
Romans 6:23 NASB For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5:
Romans 1:18 NASB For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
6:
Romans 3:20 NASB because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
7:
Romans 3:27 NASB Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
8: Romans 5:8-9 NASB But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
9:
Romans 2:4 NASB Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
10:
Romans 3:22 NASB even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
11:
Romans 3:28 NASB For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
12: Romans 10:9 NASB that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
13:
Romans 4:21 NASB and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
14:
Romans 4:24 NASB but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,
15:
Romans 5:1 NASB Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
16: Romans 10:10 NASB for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
17: Romans 10:13 NASB for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

Certainly i do not think that America is the only nation that has a strong Christian heritage, though it and no nation was ever fully Christian, but among major nations of the last 400 years i do not know of any nation except England that has been given as much grace and light as America has, and which makes our present state much more manifest by way of contrast.
Yes, Canada has also been given much grace, but the major revivals i know of have started primarily in the England and the US, and out of which countries the greatest number of powerful world changing preachers have come. In addition, the Christianity that was foundational influence on the Gov. and culture of the U.S. was primarily that of Protestantism, while as far i know, R. Catholicism was the major influence on Canada's. And it's government and judicial system more liberal than that of the U.S., though we are also slouching toward Sodom, as England has even more (as it began to fall away first).
As for all nations being worthy of judgment, this is true, but the Biblical point i am making is that the more grace and light realized then greater accountability, and thus Israel was judged so severely (Lam). And this rejection of light need not simply be that of rejecting gospel preaching, but also includes rejecting the light God gives innately and by creation (Rm. 1:19). And as widespread joining together what God has sexually placed asunder (homosexuality) is perhaps the ultimate rejection of that light of nature, and signifies the final formal stage of regeneration before judgment, thus the hour is late.

GOOD MORNING ALL!
Brothers and Sisters, I think that I understand the various points of view on this issue. I can say with certainty that GOD has richly blessed my extended family, and we give thanks every day. There is a myriad of ways to describe and define blessings. I just want to mention the personal and family level and say that many of the most precious blessings are not related to money and other worldly values. They would definitely include the Biblical values of peace, love, and joy. It's unquestioned that GOD has richly blessed this nation and many others.
This issue brings up some difficult questions, and many of the answers involve Spiritual blessings that the world doesn't understand. As an example, many Christians in dangerous and harsh surroundings know that GOD has richly blessed them. Do Christians in safe and relatively easy surroundings measure GOD'S Blessings from a different perspective? I think the answer is YES. Many Christians in this part of the world might be viewed as spoiled and spoon or bottle-fed. As a contrast, many missionaries in harsh portions of the world might make excellent arguments that they are more blessed in their danger and circumstances of need. I think these issues would make an excellent Bible Study.
Love in Christ,
Tom

(Prov 27:7) "The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet."
Yes, our degree of contentment is often relative. In whatever our lot, the Lord must be our contentment and our refuge wherever we be, and i am still learning - and in some ways forget - to content be in whatsoever state I am (Phil. 4:11).
Even the typical poor person in this country is rich, as compared with those where the gospel find it's greatest reception. And challenges. While God gives us good things to enjoy (1Tim. 6:17), He must be our greatest enjoyment (Ps. 6:11). But how easily material (food, etc.) can be (for me). And the reality is that we can often survive adversity and affliction, only to be destroyed by affluence. Thus Jesus comforted the afflicted, and afflicted the comfortable in their sins and spiritual complacency (Lk. 6:24, 25).
And warned about the grave danger of not judging ourselves, as Daniel did amidst Babylonian culture:
(Luke 21:34) "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares."
As America declines morally and economically, the church will face challenges that overall we are not ready for, as we are too much like the culture. It will be forced to adapt economically, with more believers living together and being better stewards of the mani-fold grace of God (1Pt. 4:110), while it will also be forced to either stand with Christ or be persecuted as dangerous ignorant hate mongers, etc.

AMEN DANIEL!
Good morning everyone! I've thought quite a bit about these issues, and I hope that all Christians have. As Christians, we have much to think about in these possible days that will usher in the Tribulation Period soon. Most of all, we have the Promises of GOD that we should desire to share with the lost.
I was just thinking about a few things that I'd like to share. Those who GOD Loves - HE Chastens. HE is the Loving HEAVENLY FATHER who is molding us into better vessels who will be more pleasing to HIM. We do live in a part of the world where we should know that we've had things pretty easy, even though GOD didn't make any promises that things would be easy for HIS Children in this short life. In fact, HE promised us the opposite. Never fear - GOD has many ways of doing HIS bettering and perfecting work within us. HE that began a GOOD WORK in us has Promised to finish it.
SO, we should really give Thanks in the midst of our trials and use them to grow closer and stronger in HIM.
Brothers and Sisters, we really are living in a time when the RAPTURE of the CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST could happen at any time. There are no Bible Prophecies that must be fulfilled before this GLORIOUS EVENT can take place. Not one of us deserves to be CAUGHT UP and away from the terrible WRATH to come, but GOD has Promised that we will be. We have so much to give Thanks for, especially when we consider the Promises of GOD. The nations will experience the worst of WRATH, but Christians must remember that this world IS NOT OUR HOME - and OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN. We are already Children of the KING OF KINGS, and we're just waiting to go HOME!
As individual Christians, not one of us deserves to be rescued from the WRATH to come, BUT JESUS CHRIST has already PAID our penalties IN FULL on the CROSS. HE has made us fit for the Promised Inheritance. It is wonderful to know that we are seen IN HIM because we are IN HIM. We were quickened (translated) into the BODY OF CHRIST at the moment of our SALVATION! The HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD lives in our hearts, and HE has SEALED our hearts - setting us APART as PURCHASED POSSESSIONS OF CHRIST. This is already DONE - FINISHED in a most PERFECT WAY! So,
WE SHOULD KNOW THAT HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN US WILL FINISH IT!
Please make a distinction when you hear or see that word "FINISH". SALVATION IS FINISHED, but perfecting is still a work in progress by GOD. The rest of GOD'S Promises to us will be completed most perfectly at HIS Appointed time. We will be given GLORIFIED BODIES at the RAPTURE.
Love In Christ,
Tom
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NASB
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NASB
Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

Praise God that He will deliver His elect (come quickly), but as judgment must begin at the house of God, and "
that day shall not come
, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" (2 Th 2:3), so i believe we will go through some very trying times for our own good, before we meet the Lord in the air.
"and if
it
first begin at us,
what
shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? {18} And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1 Pet 4:17b-18).

Episcopal Church Ousts Pittsburgh Bishop For Holding To Bible As Literal Word Of God
christianpost
Conservative Anglicans have expressed their “great sadness” at the decision of The Episcopal Church to depose the Bishop of Pittsburgh.
The Episcopal House of Bishops voted 88 to 35 in a closed meeting in Salt Lake City on Thursday to remove Bishop Robert Duncan from ordained ministry on the grounds of “abandonment of the communion of this church.” There were four abstentions.
Duncan, who has led the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh for 11 years, is the moderator of the Common Cause Partnership, a network of Anglicans in North America disenchanted with the The Episcopal Church's pro-homosexual agenda and moving to break away from the liberal denomination.
His deposition comes ahead of the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s vote on October 4 on whether to secede from the The Episcopal Church and align instead with the more conservative Anglican Province of the Southern Cone in South America. The Pittsburgh diocese said it will move ahead with the secession vote despite Duncan's removal.
In a joint statement, Dr. Philip Giddings, convenor of the conservative Anglican Mainstream, and Canon Dr. Chris Sugden, the group’s executive secretary, said: “To take such action is hardly in the spirit of the reflections at this year’s Lambeth Conference or the Archbishop of Canterbury’s final presidential address.
"We see this vote as further evidence that The Episcopal Church in the USA in its formal decisions and structures 'have denied orthodox faith.'"
Bishops at the Lambeth Conference, a decennial meeting of Anglican bishops that was held in Canterbury in July and early August, agreed on an immediate halt to homosexual consecrations, blessings for same-sex unions, and cross-border interventions. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams, spoke in his final address, meanwhile, of the desire among bishops to remain in communion and continue working towards a unifying covenant.
Giddings and Sugden were among the hundreds of conservative Anglicans who met in a separate meeting, the Global Anglican Future Conference, in Jerusalem in June to assess the future of orthodox Anglicanism and the Anglican Communion.
The two leaders pointed in their statement to the Jerusalem Declaration issued by GAFCON leaders at the end of their conference, which stated, “We reject the authority of those churches and leaders who have denied the orthodox faith in word or deed. We pray for them and call on them to repent and return to the Lord.”
Giddings and Sugden added, “Anglicans who adhere to the orthodox faith will continue to welcome and receive the ministry of Bishop Bob Duncan as a faithful Bishop and wish him and the people of the Diocese of Pittsburgh the Lord’s blessing in their faithful witness to the gospel."
The orthodox Convocation of Anglicans in North America also said it would continue to recognize Duncan as a bishop of the Anglican Communion, as Bishop of Pittsburgh, and as the moderator of the Common Cause Partnership.
CANA Missionary Bishop Martyn Minns denounced The Episcopal Church’s “hostile and uncanonical action,” saying it would not be accepted by the worldwide Anglican Communion.
“We hope and pray for the leaders of The Episcopal Church that they would protect the interests of its members by working with – rather than fiercely against – its bishops to proclaim the life-transforming news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That should be the goal of all Christians. Sadly, trying to fire a bishop in good standing with the rest of the Anglican Communion does nothing to save one soul,” Bishop Minns concluded.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Christians all need to realize that when Jesus came, He clearly condemned the hypocritical religious leaders of His day (e.g. Luke 11:44), more directly than the more obvious sinners (Matthew 9:10-13). This is not to say that other peoples do not have sin or that they will not be punished (for the European Assyrians will clearly also be punished, per Isaiah 10:12), but that the punishment will begin first on those that should have known better—those who claimed to live by the Bible but have repeatedly failed to do so.
For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required (Luke 12:48).
16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin (James 4:16-17).
5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation (Isaiah 10:5-6, KJV).

Dangerous Trends: Environmentalism leading many to endorse one child policy and now "Sterilization for Women"
Prophecy News Watch
A popular women’s magazine in the UK recently featured an article entitled, Young, Single and Sterilized, in which women in their 20’s discussed why they had undergone an operation to prevent them from ever having children. The article is little more than PR for a “women’s charity” called Marie Stopes International, an organization that carries out abortions and sterilizations and was founded by a Nazi eugenicist who advocated compulsory sterilization of non-whites and “those of bad character”.
The story appears in a weekly magazine called Love It. One of the women featured in the article, Chloe, explains why she decided to have herself sterilized at the age of just 20.
“By the time I was 18, I knew I was never going to change. I couldn’t imagine letting something take over my body and then my whole life.”
“I couldn’t even look at a baby without feeling uncomfortable.”
Following the sterilization procedure, Chloe celebrates the fact that “I’ve got a lifetime of going out ahead of me now,” presumably meaning going out, getting mindlessly drunk and having sex with random strangers, as is British culture, while not having to worry about the risk of pregnancy or the responsibility of looking after a child.
Despite admitting that she has not told any of her family and not even her own mother about the sterilization, the article ends with Chloe boldly stating that it was, “the most sensible adult decision I’ll ever make.”
Another ’success story’ as the article skews it is Charlie McCann, who was sterilized on her 30th birthday and, we read, “is happy with her choice, insisting the men in her life have to adjust.” Her then boyfriend decided to adjust by ending the relationship because he couldn’t bear never having children.
Ironically, another woman speaks about how she first became interested in the idea of being sterilized after reading about the subject in a women’s magazine.
Jacquelyn Arnold tells of how she felt “irritation” at the sight of children playing in a garden and decided to go ahead with the operation, which is described in routine and straightforward terms. Arnold says she has no regrets and has ‘taken control of her life’.
Sterilization is lauded as an “excellent method of birth control” by Dr. Patricia Lohr of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service.
The article includes an advertisement that encourages women to seek “more information about sterilization” by contacting Marie Stopes International. We read that, “Over the past year, a quarter of the women who booked a sterilisation consultation with women’s charity Marie Stopes were aged 30 or under.”
Marie Stopes was a feminist who opened the first birth control clinic in Britain in 1921 as well as being Nazi sympathizer and a eugenicist who advocated that non-whites and the poor be sterilized.
Stopes, a racist and an anti-Semite, campaigned for selective breeding to achieve racial purity, a passion she shared with Adolf Hitler in adoring letters and poems that she sent the leader of the Third Reich.
Stopes also attended the Nazi congress on population science in Berlin in 1935, while calling for the “compulsory sterilization of the diseased, drunkards, or simply those of bad character.” Stopes acted on her appalling theories by concentrating her abortion clinics in poor areas so as to reduce the birth rate of the lower classes.
Stopes left most of her estate to the Eugenics Society, an organization that shared her passion for racial purity and still exists today under the new name The Galton Institute. The society has included members such as Charles Galton Darwin (grandson of the evolutionist), Julian Huxley and Margaret Sanger.
Ominously, The Galton Institute website promotes its support and funding initiative for “the practical delivery of family planning facilities, especially in developing countries.” In other words, the same organization that once advocated sterilizing black people to achieve racial purity in the same vein as the Nazis is now bankrolling abortions of black babies in the third world.
While the issue of abortion is an entirely different argument, most would agree that no matter how extreme it sounds, a woman has the right to sterilize herself if she so chooses, just as a man has the right to a vasectomy.
But when a magazine aimed primarily at young women all but encourages girls as young as 20 to have their fallopian tubes tied in order to prevent the “irritation” of children entering their lives and then advertises an organization founded by a Nazi eugenicist that can perform the operation, something has to be amiss.
Even more shocking than this is the fact that the majority of people in the UK routinely express their support for society’s “undesirables” to be forcibly sterilized by the state, harking back to a time when such a thing was commonplace right up to the 1970’s in some areas of America and Europe.
As we highlighted earlier this month, respondents to a Daily Mail article about Royal Mail honoring Marie Stopes by using her image on a commemorative stamp were not disgusted at Royal Mail for paying homage to a racist Nazi eugenicist, but were merely keen to express their full agreement that those deemed not to be of pure genetic stock or of the approved character should be forcibly sterilized and prevented from having children.
“A lot of people should be sterilized, IMO. It’s still true today,” wrote one.
“Just imagine what a stable, well-ordered society we’d have if compulsory sterilisation had been adopted years ago for the socially undesirable,” states another respondent, calling for a “satellite-carried sterilisation ray” to be installed in space to zap the undesirables.
Shockingly, another compares sterilization and genocide of those deemed inferior to the breeding and culling of farmyard animals, and says that such a move is necessary to fight overpopulation and global warming. Here is the comment in full from “Karen” in Wales;
"We breed farm animals to produce the best possible stock and kill them when they have fulfilled their purpose. We inter-breed pedigree animals to produce extremes that leave them open to ill-health and early death. It is only religion that says humans are not animals. The reality is that we are simply intelligent, mammalian primates".
"The world population of humans has increased from 2 billion to 6.5 billion in the last 50 years. This planet can support 2 billion humans comfortably. 6.5 billion humans use too many resources and leads to global warming, climate change and a very uncertain future for all of us - humans and all other life sharing this planet with us".
Marie Stopes believed in population control and in breeding the best possible humans. So did Hitler. Neither of the aims are bad in themselves. It is how they are achieved that is the problem. The fact that we still remember Marie Stopes is an achievement in itself.
The nature of these comments is so fundamentally sick and twisted that one is tempted to dismiss them as a joke - but these people are deadly serious. Presumably they would also agree with China’s one child policy, which is routinely enforced by intimidation as young pregnant women are grabbed off the streets by state goons and taken to hospitals where forced abortions are carried out.
Now with popular women’s magazines advising women in their 20’s where they can go to be sterilized and ensure a lifetime of partying and carefree sex, it’s no surprise that experts predict that by 2010 one in four western women will be child free for life.
The yearning to have children is the most beautiful, natural and innate emotion either a man or a woman can possibly experience. That is not to say that it’s always wrong for some people not to have children - extreme circumstances can justify such a decision. But to have yourself sterilized because you find children to be an “irritant” and want to live a life free of responsibility or consequences is an awful message to send to young women, especially in the sex-saturated entertainment culture that we are now forced to endure.
Furthermore, the outright promotion of Marie Stopes International as ‘the place to go’ to get sterilized if you’re under 30 is stomach-churning considering the fact that the origins of this organization can be found in Nazi ideology, racist and backward early 20th century eugenics and a long-standing agenda to cull the population of undesirables, an abhorrent belief still held by elites across the planet today.

The Marie Stopes organizations of this world all need to be shut done. One of these associate organizations is Planned Parenthood. They are all a complete travesty to a moral society. These women that decided to never have children ... as long as they continue with the attitude that they hold are in fact saving many children from a very miserable life that would do nothing but harm them and society in general.

California approves nurse-assisted suicide
Schwarzenegger signs bill authorizing dehydration, starvation of patients
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has officially approved an assisted suicide measure allowing nurses to sedate, dehydrate and starve depressed or confused individuals they consider to be "terminally ill."
The bill, sponsored by Assemblywoman Patty Berg, a Democrat, passed the California Assembly Aug. 28, and the state Senate Aug. 20. It was signed by the governor yesterday.
The legislation, called the "Terminal Patients' Right to Know End of Life Options Act," or AB 2747, passed by a 42 to 34 vote. An Aug. 20 Senate vote of 21 to 17 ushered the measure to the governor's desk for signing.
Randy Thomasson, chief of the Campaign for Children and Families, said the legislation is dangerous and should have been vetoed by Gov. Schwarzenegger.
"AB 2747 pushes suicide through the back door at the hands of non-physicians taking advantage of depressed patients," he said in a statement. "AB 2747 cheapens the value of human life by endorsing suicide as an option."
The measure allows physician assistants and nurses to decide whether a person is "terminally ill" and deprive them of basic life-sustaining necessities such as food and water.
"Depressed patients who succumb to this pressure will be drugged unconscious and die from dehydration, usually within five to 10 days," Thomasson said. "Nothing in the bill prohibits this horror."
Thomasson said Berg "deceptively changed" the bill to appear that "voluntarily stopping of eating and drinking" and "palliative sedation" no longer were on a list of "symptom management" options.
"But the final bill "is broad enough to easily include these suicide techniques," he said.
According to the CCF, Assemblyman Van Tran of Costa Mesa warned the bill has no protections for patients "who could be mistakenly diagnosed as 'terminally ill' but would have many, many full years of life ahead."
"The bill does not otherwise attempt to expressly define terminal illness that each of these health care professionals would have to diagnose to trigger the offer of counseling end of life option," Tran said. "It is not clear why nurse practitioners and physician assistants could make such a significant diagnosis. It is further not clear from the bill how making such significant diagnoses on a case-by-case basis can be done by such practitioners and assistants based on so-called 'standardized procedures and protocols' not further defined by the bill. The potential effect of AB 2747 is extremely broad and could cause irrevocable harm."
As WND reported, state Sen. Sam Aanestad, R-Grass Valley, urged Schwarzenegger to veto the bill as well.
He said the legislation was sponsored by a group called Compassion and Choices, which formerly was known as the Hemlock Society and has advocated for physician-assisted suicide legislation in the past. A founder of the group has praised Dr. Jack Kevorkian for helping more than 100 people die.
Dozens of individuals and groups representing cancer patients, minority rights groups, members of religious communities and hospitals spoke before the Senate Health Committee in opposition to the idea. Also, numerous hospitals and other organizations opposed the measure, includeing California Disability Alliance, California Family Council, California Nurses for Ethical Standards, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco.
