I think it also teaches us how people of different races CAN get along with each other!
If these kids can figure it out, Why not us too?
We are supposed to be smarter then children...
It's almost kinda like"Out of the mouth of Babes" thing, ya know what i mean?

Millions of kids only have themselves too rely on...(EXCEPT GOD of COURSE)
I had 4 dads by the age of 12 and I had to grow-up and rely on myself and i was/am strong in the Lord...

"Out of the mouths of babes" was the first thing that came to my mind too.

My daughter taught me a valuable lesson, just last week.  I was working on my Bible Study of Matthew chapter 5. Matthew 5:37  But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.  I tend to say too much offering explanations, etc...

Well she asked me a question and rather than just saying NO, I told her PERHAPS.  She informed me that perhaps almost always mean NO.  OUCH!!! Type of lying, don't you think. Not saying what I meant...DECEPTIVE?

Children are very wise!!! We could learn much from them.

Amen Sis,
All my children are grown now,
However, my 3 yr. old granddaughter demands a yes or no Smiley
I'ts so cool, shes just like my son, he would grab your cheeks and make you look him in the eyes at 3 yrs. old
and answer him... Smiley
As for the Deceptiveness:
That would depend on IF your using the word "Perhaps" for a NO answer to avoid a confrontation that you might get in with a "NO" answer?
If your truely thinking about IT, Perhaps, is a perfect word to use...
EVEN if the majority of the time "Perhaps" ends up meaning NO...
I know what you mean though,
I think ALL parents have been Guilty of that one at one point or another with their kids?
My real dad use to always say: "Say what you mean and Mean what you say"!, "Maintain weather you know how to spell it or not"!
Your Loving Brother Duane

Littleboy (Brother Duane):

Surprised to hear you have grown children and a 3 yr. old granddaughter.

I mainly use "perhaps" just as you said, so thanks for saying it may be the perfect use of it.

I agree with your real dad, "say what you mean and mean what you say"-that exact phrase came up during our Bible Study too.

Littleboy:

Guess it was your handle that threw me off.  It certainly didn't make me think you were old enough to have grand children.

Congratulations on having been married for 25 years.  That is quite an accomplishment, particularly in this day and age.

Christians should have a higher success rate in marriage than the world, unfortunately that is not the case.

God Bless you, your wife, your children and granddaughter too.

Brother Duane:

What a great thing to have a wonderful spouse to thank God for, almost every day. Grin

Littleboy is certainly an appropriate name for you.

God Bless you all as you celebrate Tucky's first birthday.

I pray that God will bless me with grand children someday, as he has you and your wife.

Brother Duane:

Amen!  Words can not express how much God has thrown into the deepest part of the sea never to be remembered again.  He reminds me daily just how deep His love for me is.

Thanks so much for your prayer  I am in agreement and not doubting.  God has granted me so many blessings.  I know He has not even begun to reveal all that He has for me.  AMEN!!!
