Hello 123456!  I have already prayed for you and will continue to do so.
Welcome to the forums also.  There is a lot of support on here and alot of fun people so stay tuned!
You will probably not find a church like you had in high school again, but keep your focus on the Lord and ask him to guide you to a new church that is just right for you.  You'll know when you find it because it will feel like home.

A verse I found recently and has been and encouragement to me is:
"Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath"
 - Ps 116:2

I just love the picture this brings to me that my Father, the GOD of the universe actually "bends down" and listens to hear what I'm saying.  It gives me the picture of my own self bending down to hear what my grandson is saying.  And I bend down because I love him and I'm paying attention!

So pray and talk to your Father.  He is listening!
In Christ,

Hi and welcome to Christians Unite.

I have been to the Philippines a number of times but I'm not familiar with Monumento.

My prayers are with you. I sincerely hope that you will join us in some wonderful Christian fellowship. There are many wonderful Christians here that happy to help and encourage you in your walk with Jesus Christ.

There are no personal messages or email functions here. Unfortunately we had to turn that function off due to it being misused.

I spent some time in Olongapo, Manila and Baguio City while in the U.S. Navy. I'm not familiar with any of the churches there although I did spend time helping an orphanage near Baguio City that was run by a local church.

I have sent you some links of some folks there in the PI.  I do not know if they are near you but you can contact them and I am sure they would know of some folks in your area that you could go to.

Hope it helps

Congratulations to you for returning to our Lord and Savior!!!

How much rejoicing there is when just 1 lost sheep is found or the prodigal returns.

Luke 15:20  And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Luke 15:21  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
Luke 15:22  But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
Luke 15:23  And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

God has drawn you back to Him.  Although I am unfamiliar with the Philippines, I know that God will lead you to the place he would have you to fellowship. I am new to the forum as well, but it is a great place to fellowhip across the miles.

lGod Bless you, Eva

I thank you all for the prayers!
I scanned through the list of church and all of them is so far..

I  know God still cares for me... and I know I am soo stubborn..
I really dunno what I want in life .. and really right now... I am confused, angry.
I sometimes even prayed that I wanna die coz I dont want these problems which I created.
I want all of my problems to go away !!!  I am a lost sheep ..

Hello 123456,

My prayers for you. I know the Lord's arms are always open to welcome you if you would come with a broken heart.

The Christian life is a series of new beginnings, of falling down and getting up again. When we stumble, we often think, "I've failed again. I might as well give up." But God is the God of new beginnings. He not only forgives our sins, but He also uses our failures to make us wiser.

I also have my struggles (and victories). Many times before and even very recently, I would have to start anew with my relationship with the Lord. I just rely on God's mercy and goodness.

Like Paul when he encountered the Lord, let's all ask "What shall I do, Lord?" and listen to what He would tell us to do.

You may want to go to the Word of Hope. It's the church across SM North Edsa. You may also try New Community, a simple church that meets in West Avenue (contact Kim or Reggie 09182481353 or call New Community at (02) 826-9229 for other simple churches that meets in Quezon City area)

Best regards,

Halo

1 Peter 1:3-5 NASB
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
