Hello! I am new here..just trying to find some fellow Christians to talk to...

Well, I have gone through a whole lot so far in my 24 years of being alive.. I was on the wrong path for a long time. One day I came to something like a mid life crisis except concerning God, Jesus, and myself..I lost it. Finally, I realized what I was doing and changed it for the better. Everyday I wake up and ask God what he wants me to do..So far, I have done some encouragment, quit smoking, etc. But I find that everyday I ask that, I learn something new. It took a lot of broken roads and dead ends to finally figure it out. I needed Jesus in my life. And it's not all about me, it's about God. I was selfish and I let my family down at the time. Now I am just working to create a better life for myself, my family, and working to work for God.  Smiley

Hello godscreation24,

Welcome to Christians Unite forums. Amen, a wonderful testimony. It is indeed about God, what He wants and what we can do for Him.

I look forward to seeing more of your post and in having some wonderful fellowship in the Lord.

And it's not all about me, it's about God.

That is a great truth right there sister!  It has taken some more than 24 years of life to realize that.  Myself being one of them!

Hello GodsCreation,

I think that I've welcomed you elsewhere on the forum, but I want to welcome you again, so WELCOME!

I loved your post, and it was really like a testimony. We've all been on the wrong path at least once, and GOD'S Path for us is the only right one. There is no irony that the closer we come to GOD'S Will, the greater peace and happiness we have in this short life. It takes many people longer than 24 years to find out about this mighty and powerful TRUTH. As Christians, we all have a constant need for prayer, strength, and encouragement. GOD didn't promise that any of us would have an easy time in this short life, but this short life is only the beginning. We are just passing through and will only be here for a short time. Our HOME and CITIZENSHIP is in HEAVEN. We will be weary travelers and have much work to do before we can go HOME.

Sister, I look forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I think a lot of us get started off on the right path then somehow fall off for a while. I know I started out strong, then spent a few years jumping from one hot frying pan to the next until finely I wised up and landed on the solid Rock of our Lord and Savior. There are many topic's here where you can add a thought or two, or start a new one on your own. Look forward to reading your posts.
