I happened to see this article today, and thought about Thanksgiving coming up.  How thankful we as christians in America should be in light of such suffering of our Brotheren in Christ in other parts of the world.

Let us truly be thankful of the freedoms we share in America to serve our Lord freely, and let us all pray for our fellow brothers in Christ who spend this thanksgiving in labor camps and Jail for their faith in Jesus Christ.

Not trying to depress or make everyone feel guilty, but surely we have much to be thankful for as sit around the table with out loved ones.

Grace and Peace!

Quick question...its not against forum rules to post a link to news articles such as the one I have linked in the opening post is it?  I have read the forum rules and all seems to be OK....just wanted to make sure.

Grace and Love!

Oklahoma Howdy to 2nd Timothy,

It's no problem at all. That was a great article, THANKS! I recommend that everyone read it and have something to give extra thanks for tomorrow.

We must pray for our Brothers and Sisters in other parts of the world who are being persecuted for reading the Bible and worshiping Christ. There may come a day when must all suffer to worship Christ. If that day comes, I will worship Christ. I'm optimistic that America as a nation will again stand up and proudly claim Almighty God as Lord over all. I'm also optimistic that God isn't through with America.

Love In Christ,
Tom
