 Cheesy Shocked Roll Eyes

I found this one to be not only funny, but saddly accurate:

A young minister stood at the pulpit, and told his congregation that next
week he was going to speak on lying. In preparation he would like everyone
to read Mark chapter 17.

He then proceeded with the rest of the service, and bid everyone good bye.
The following Sunday when he stepped to the pulpit, he asked how many
had read the assigned scriptures. Every hand in the place went up!

The minister smiled saddly, and said this is exactly why I feel this message is
needed...there are only 16 chapters in Mark!

John 3:17 for he came not into the world to condemn the world, but that the world thru him might be saved! Rom 8:1 there is therefore no con-
demnation to those who are in
christ Jesus...

I am like most fathers.  I, like most, want more for my children than I have.

I am unlike most fathers.  What I would like my children to have more of is crowns to lay at Jesus feet.
