I'm reading and studying The Treasury of David by Charles Spurgeon. It's incredibly beautiful. I've had it for years and never read it. It's wonderful to study the Psalms, one at a time and enjoy depth and beauty of the Psalms.

By the way, it's public domain and available free on many Christian sites. If you use the free eSword Bible Study Program, The Treasury of David is one of the free modules. I'm almost sure that the same is true for numerous other Bible Study programs.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Hello Grammyluv,

Wonderful! - I know that you'll enjoy it. John is said by many to be the most beautiful Book of the Bible because of the intimate knowledge of Jesus Christ. Enjoy!

Love In Christ,
Tom

I keep putting this out there because I think it is an important and informative book.  If you haven't read it yet, you can get a copy at your library.

It's: The Islamic Antichrist by Joel Richardson

I have read it twice and finally bought my own copy so that I could share it with family and friends.

Wow!  Nothing new here since I was last here!  Are you all not reading or just not sharing, or not reading anything worth sharing? LOL!

I am now reading, "God's War on Terror" by Walid Shobat w/ Joel Rosenberg.  Excellent information although some, but not all, I knew from reading "The Islamic AntiChrist".

If you have read either of these books, I would love to hear from you!

I've been reading a new commentary for my e-Sword Bible Study Program called IVP Bible Background. It changes with each portion of Scripture and talks about background, culture, customs, historical perspective, and more about the portion of Scripture involved. I find it fascinating and would highly recommend it for someone who wants to know more when studying a portion of Scripture.

Sister Yvette, I've heard about The Islamic Antichrist by Joel Richardson and seen it highly recommended. It sounds like something I might want to read. The only thing left is for me to get a copy and read it. Thanks for your recommendation.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I've read it twice!  First I got it at the library, but then I wanted to own a copy so I could lend it out so I bought it off of christianbook . com or Amazon, I don't remember which.  The one that I am reading now has the same information but a WHOLE LOT more!
