I have my own unique manner of maintaining files so i just use what is available with Windows. I understand from Brother Tom that he uses a program that does more than just file management and it is a free one. He explains it here:

I guess I don't know what it is called but something where I can upload pictures onto the internet, like my signature

First you will need some space somewhere...myspace.com or something like that where you can upload your pictures too.

The next thing you will need is a ftp program that allows you to connect to your space (above) and transfer the files from your computer to that space.

Otherwise go to google and start searching for free ftp programs

I use a web site called photobucket.com. They have a free service there that will allow you to upload pictures from your computer into their web site. There is the ability to place them into different folders or you can put them all into just one, however you wish to do it. You can also create a slideshow, remix, and avatars. There is also other functions that I am not familiar with has I haven't tried to use them yet.

When you post a picture there it gives it a url that you can use to post them on forums.
