Ayatollah Kashani invites Muslims to unity against enemy plots
Tehran, Aug 3, IRNA

Iran-Prayers-Kashani
Tehran's substitute Friday prayers leader Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani said here at Tehran University campus on Friday that the world of Islam should get united in the face of the enemy plots.

"The world of Islam should remain cohesive and united despite all the ongoing conspiracies so that Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan and other Muslim states are freed," said Ayatollah Kashani in his second Friday prayers sermon.

Ayatollah Kashani said that in the world of Islam there is no difference between Shiites and Sunnis and it is the arrogance which tries to divide them.

Elsewhere in his sermon, Ayatollah Kashani criticized the Muslim states that have purchased sophisticated arms from Washington and "are deceived by the enemies to pit Shiites and Sunnis against each other."
He warned that foreigners want to push Muslim Umma into a degrading position and get them engaged in internal strife.

He went on to say that the US and Zionists want misfortune for Muslims and Arab states. "This is clear occasionally in their words and speech."
He then switched to the US planned arms aid package to regional states and said, "Enemies of Islam are today selling dlrs 60 billion worth arms to countries in our region under the pretext that Iran is a danger and that they wish to guarantee security in the Middle East.

The Arab and Muslim heads of state and regional people know it well that the US tells a lie."
He noted that the US wants to save its arms manufacturing companies from bankruptcy and get money out of Muslims' pocket and put it in Israel's instead.

"If the US allies in the region are wise enough they should know that the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a threat and has instead been supporting any Muslim in every corner of the world. The Islamic Republic of Iran is not after arms and whole the world knows the fact well that western claims on Iran's peaceful nuclear program are false."
He then pointed to the west's claim of justice and said, "The Americans' prisons and their conduct in Iraq showed that their claims on justice are untrue."
