One of the things I feel the Lord is calling me to do is eventually open my own Christian Gym. I know this will take money, nevres of steel, and stress, BUT I feel it may very well be my path from Him.
Naturally, I would love to make it Strictly for Christians Only, but that would defeat the purpose of Witnessing. I do want to stress to Members, though, that we are there not only to serve the body, but the soul.
I would have the best workout equipment, along with Christian Personal Trainers, and an atmosphere where you could feel comfortavle discussing the Lord or praying before or while working out (which I always do-even silently).
May take awhile to catch on, but I feel I could eventually make it work.
Would also offer as much discount as I could to Veterans, and would make programs for folk who are not bodybuilders or atheletes-fitness is for everyone!
Any suggestions, ideas, or disagreements even are welcome!

Christian Contemporary music, and maybe even videos playing.  Cool idea!  I workout at the YMCA.  It's a good environment, but the piped in music isn't necessarily my favorite.  The TV's are basic channels but no sound.  God bless your endeavors!

What a great idea!    May the Lord bless you with a successful business that will glorify Him.  Please keep us posted.

Sounds good to me!  A wonderful opportunity to meet other Christians and an opportunity for non-Christians to come into a Christian environment and see and experience the fellowship.
