New intel report to be made public today

WASHINGTON- A new intelligence report out today makes for disturbing reading.

The National Intelligence Estimate is the consensus view of all 16 U-S spy agencies. It says the U-S will face a "persistent and evolving" terrorist threat in the next three years.
Those who've seen a draft say the report warns al-Qaida has stepped up efforts to sneak operatives into America. It also paints a worrisome picture of increased training at camps along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, giving al-Qaida added capability to mount strikes on the U-S homeland and on key allies.
White House Press Secretary Tony Snow says the report shows this is no time for America to let down its guard. Snow says it is "always all hands on deck" when dealing with terrorism.
