So you DID go and see the doc? And he said it's okay? What kind of heart medicine were you on? No, check that. It would be meaningless to me. What kind of problem were you being prescribed heart medicine for? Take care of yourself!

Well, I didn't actually mention the TKD since I was feeling better but I did have an EKG not too long ago. I do have a prolapsed valve, but other than that the doc said it was probably stress. I had arhythmia and chest pains, and that was the reason for the EKG. And I have to be very careful with caffeine. Last class wasn't bad-no pain and no medicine. I almost had to walk off because of dizziness, but that is normal for me. Those are some really intense workouts. But God has been good to me.

And if you happen to find the time to mention these ever so small details to your health care professional, they might just be better able to help you.... Just a thought..... ( I had to quit rolling my eyes for fear that they would get stuck!)

No wait. Maybe sincereheart sticks out her tongue more than she rolls her eyes. Now that I think about it. It's hard to tell, actually, which is done more. It should all be very interesting at Bible Study, I'm sure.

Well, I just didn't want the doctor to be overly concerned about the TKD, just in case all the information wasn't in yet, and I was improving... *hides under table*

*ahem* No, we mustn't bother the doctor with such trivial things as health issues. *that table won't help* Symphony - I didn't roll my eyes even once in this post - not where you could see, anyway!

I was afraid he was going to tell me to quit without really thinking about if I needed to, not really taking into account the gravity of such a directive. But as it turns out, there are ways to deal with the MVP that can vastly improve the situation that I didn't know before, and the exercise seems to be actually...helping! Although the first couple of episodes were an eyeopener. It also explains why others I know with MVP have my same symptoms, including one of my best friends. So now I'm shuttling them all off to do the same things that seem to be helping in my case. Sincereheart, you're awsome. *hug*

Er, well, I've been doing a very good job of keeping up on the TKD! Only had to walk off the floor once, but the instructor knows about the problem now and if I start getting disoriented or doing a sloppy job on easy moves, he slows us down. As fer the doctor, well, I found out more about my situation through some reading and it seems to be helping. They never know about all this stuff I find out on my own anyway. They only tell you things you don't want to hear. And I am getting much stronger. As long as I stay well-hydrated, cut out the sugar and caffeine, and remember to breathe while executing the techniques, I'm okay. I think i'm getting stronger! *hug*

Please let's do talk about martial arts! Do you not agree that everything we as people, we either do for God or for Satan? In this case we have Christians who train in martial arts for the purpose of gaining stronger leadership skills so they may teach other Christians how to serve God in a possible better way as a leader for Christ. Point in fact, check out www.wctf.net
