I was just sitting here drinking coffee and reading the news. I came across an article saying that they found way more underwater volcanoes than they originally thought they were. It mentioned gas emissions from the volcano but didn't get specific so I had to do some research.
Based strictly on estimates it was said that volcanoes only caused 1/150th of the co2 that humans make. Now they have found that there are more underwater volcanoes than previously thought. Now the estimates are that they are about equal or the volcanoes may be just a little ahead. During a period of really high volcanic activity it can be much higher depending on the given volcanoes output. In any case the earths climate is definitely affected.
I wonder what Al Gores plan is to control the volcanoes carbon footprint?
