Oklahoma Howdy to All,

My son has left the Gulf and is in Hawaii on liberty. I sincerely appreciate your prayers for our young men and women serving in the Armed Forces.

Nathan called us from a hotel room last night and is extremely happy to be coming home. A 9 month deployment is a long time, but many units are staying longer than that.

I mainly wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your prayers.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to Willowbirch,

I know he has a leave already approved to be home in Oklahoma on December 17, and I think it's for 10 days or more. I think that a lot of things depend on what happens in the Middle East during the next few months. They are rotating a lot of units in and out and back in again. We are hoping he will at least be in the States 3 months. He is regular enlisted, and they have different plans for regular vs. reserve. We asked him several times, and he said things could change 2 or 3 times before he got home for Christmas.

In Christ,
Tom
