My Opinion, - Kaos in the Middle East Iran, and Syria

Early in this decade, it became clear that a war was underway. The U.S. CIA Director said as much to his president, and not until 9/11 did it become clear enough for the apathetic American public to finally got a clue.
Today, the entire world is focused on the Middle East and for good reason. There lies the evil that is slowly chewing up our civilization, and doing so at an ever increasing rate. Not because we aren't trying to slow it or stop, but because we cannot find our way clear to actually going after the disease, we have focused only on the symptoms.
Intelligence analysts for western governments understand the disease but do not seem to be able to articulate it, perhaps wary of stepping on political shoes or revealing sources, both self-indulgent and suicidal responses to their masters. We must point out where the problem lies,
throw off liberal shackles and engage in all out war to stop this disease before it crushes our civilization and creates the same chaos that threatens the Middle East.
The disease is familiar by now, Islamic Radicalism that spawns the Militant Jihadist Group which in turn exports terror in ways, we as civilized beings, cannot understand nor cope with. If the travails of the normal citizen in Baghdad were to be overlaid on the citizens of Chicago, Illinois, then perhaps we'd understand. You don't feel safe, that time is not too far in the distant future.
The reason for that judgment is that the forces of evil in the Middle East all agree that is their goal. They are dead set on bringing the same
chaos in the Middle East to the U.S. and Europe.
And they have the power to do so, unfortunately. Why? Because we are giving that power to them day by day. France is seeing the result of their liberal acceptance of the Muslim unwanted and the U.S. has been allowing Muslim immigration in vast numbers as well. Both nations have, through liberal malaise, allowed radical Muslim mosques to preach hatred of the very societies within which the mosques are allowed to exist. We have allowed the radical recruitment and prostelization to occur under our very noses under the pretext of freedom of religion.
The beginning of this tale starts with the Saudis. Perhaps not as intentional as the Saudi haters would have you believe, but it begins there never-the less. By exporting Wahhabism from the Muslim Mosque and its religious training centers the Madrassah, they (perhaps unwittingly) put in place the worldwide recruiting network needed by the Islamic radicals. Not confined to the Middle East, this network of recruiting organizations exists in every corner of the world, with huge Muslim populations in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the surrounding territories. It exists in Europe with Muslim immigration continuing unchecked for decades and in the U.S. where arrogant and apathetic immigration policies have allowed unchecked Muslim immigration to flourish until 9/11.
By allowing this network to be in place, we now face the prospect of every disaffected Muslim becoming a tool of our civilization's enemy. This is about religion. Religious freedom is not the freedom to breed anarchists, it is not the freedom to breed those who would destroy the fabric of our civilization. Yet, there are those in our society who would destroy Christianity and yet permit Islamic Radicalism destroy us. This seemingly irrational focus stems from liberalism gone crazy and this supplies the idiocy that binds our hands today.
Separation of church and state was intended to prevent the government from prohibiting the freedom of religious expression. But no government can survive a religion that fundamentally preaches the destruction of it and its leaders. The Saudis finally understood this and we in the U.S. are now slowly coming to realize this fact today. Our government, and its values of freedom, personal choice, and privacy is the bane of the radical Islamic interpretation of Islamic Law. The result is the face-off we have already begun, despite claims to the contrary, we are at a war of civilization and despite the claims to the contrary, this IS a war of religions.
Be very clear. They want to destroy the American and European strides toward freedom is what serves as the target of Radical Islam and as Osama Bin Laden has stated, we are to be destroyed and replaced with the Rule of Law, Radical Islam style. Nothing else will do.
Subjugation or destruction
, either way is okay with Osama Bin Laden and his friends. And friends he has, lots of them. Whether they be Sunni or Shiite, the radical Islamic Jihadist unite in that conclusion. The "West" must be destroyed. Not just for their support of Israel, which is the greatest sin possible, but because the West stands for the very things the Jihadists cannot abide, freedom of choice, equality for all races and women, and non Islamic beliefs that fly in the face of their credo. They cannot exist in our world, and we must do more than realize they cannot exist in ours.
The most important step in the progress of the Middle Eastern evil was the creation of the Israeli state. Hours after the official declaration of the Israel nation, Arabs all around her began their attacks.
And when, through miracle after miracle, Israel managed to survive, a tenuous peace settled over the land. Unfortunately, the peace was short lived and an image only. Eventually, the Israelis came to understand that only their own military strength could save them. They still haven't looked to Jesus for their being.
However, when their strength reached a level that no military force in the region could overcome them, a new diabolical method for their eradication was created. The formation of the Black September group and its various splinter groups which led to Hamas and Hezbollah as creatures of death and destruction for the Jewish nation marked the beginning of the current chaos in the Middle East.
The beginning of the public acknowledgment of this step was the Munich Olympic massacre of the Israeli Olympic team, and decades of Arab terrorists and Israeli responses to that new type of warfare.
Enter Syria and Iran. Syrian agents through the Iran funded Hezbollah terrorist group, had already created a death grip on the government of Lebanon, a country perched north of Israel and indeed one of Israel's border neighbors. Decades of Israeli and Arab conflict essentially turned Lebanon into a war zone, with only intermittent pauses. Ever since, rubble has remained and every few years the fighting resumes. Israeli troops scoured the country for terrorists and its neighbors armies as well. Finally it was clear some intervention was needed, Israel was on a rampage and the Lebanese were the victims.
The U.S. and the U.N. tried to intervene. However after Hezbollah terrorists bombed a U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut in 1983, the U.S. withdrew. The bombing sent a stinging message that the warfare of the terrorist is far stronger than conventional might of any nation. This message was reiterated in another decade later when U.S. troops were attacked in their quarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Khobar Towers. Force protection has become the watchword for U.S. military generals, building compounds large enough to prevent rocket fire from the outside in a conventional perimeter, and anti-terrorist measures inside to keep truck bombs away from U.S. troops.

Syria and Hezbollah and related splinter groups ruled Lebanon as a puppet government for decades after the U.S. and Israeli withdrawals in the late 1980s. Indeed the Syrian military remained in force in Lebanon until their ouster in April of 2005. Constant reminders of the desires of Hezbollah's' intentions through their cooperative arming of terrorists who then fired rockets from Lebanon into Israel created numerous opportunities for Israel force extension into Lebanon on a regular basis over decades and did not abate when the Syrian military left.
Then support of so called Palestinians inside Israel's borders created more havoc, using rockets fired from Palestinian refugee camps into Israeli settlements. The source of the munitions used by those internal to Israel was disclosed to be Hezbollah and Hamas. Finally, Hezbollah and its great friends Fatah and Hamas began strapping on bombs to young Muslims sending them on suicide missions into Israeli cities, killing thousands over nearly two decades.
The Iranian people have been at odds with the entire Middle East for most of the nation's existence.
Shiite versus Sunni has been the battle both in modern times as well as ancient times. When the eleventh Caliph Ali disappeared, the Shi'a became tormented, they had lost their religious way.
Unfortunately for the rest of the world, the Ayatollah Khomeni wrested control of the Shi'a faction of Islam in the last decades of the 20th century. Unfortunate because he was also an adherent to radical muslim philosophy that thought nothing of destroying every non-believer on the planet in order to foist his own peculiar and deadly interpretation of the Koran on the rest of the world. At that point, the elevation of the Ayatollah Khomeni to the top of the radical Islamic tolietbowl, was a turning point for the Middle East.
Prior to that, the Middle East violence was nothing more than an offshoot of the Arab-Israeli conflict the so called Palestinian Territory issue became a rallying cry for anti-Semitic Arabs the world over.
In any case, Iran is behind Hezbollah the Shiite nutcases that want to rule the Middle East through chaos, and who have built their own terrorist army in Lebanon. And it is indeed a full fledged army with tanks, rockets and infrastructure in Lebanon. Last summer, Israel sent a token force into Lebanon to oust them and found a huge military machine facing them. While Syria had withdrawn its forces, Iran reinforced Hezbollah creating a huge force of Jewish killers the Israeli have not seen since the early years of their independence. The Israeli forces didn't exactly come home with their tails between their legs, but it was a sobering summer foray that promises to change the face of Israeli politics for some time, and certainly has the possibility of changing the complexion of the Israeli response to future events in the Middle East.
Israeli Defense Ministry has complained of ever-increasing Hezbollah strength in Lebanon and taken small actions to push it back away from Israel's borders.
Last summer's foray, while stinging Israel's military pride, also proved clearly that what the Israeli hawks have been saying is true. Hezbollah has become a force to be contended with, even as a true military force as well as a terrorist organization. This is a new wrinkle in the Middle East and it is Iran with the support of Syria that makes it all possible. And while the Israelis did severe damage to Hezbollah in their summer foray, destroying some infrastructure, weapons dumps and battlements, they did not come close to irradicating that enemy. That inability to muster the necessary will and the forces to go with it will haunt the Israeli government for some decades to come.
The U.S. led invasion of Iraq became another turning point for the region. The rhetoric quickly turned to ousting the occupiers, but underneath the real message was clear to all radical Islamic denizens. A free and democratic Iraq was a huge threat to the foisting of Islamic Radicalism whether it be Sunni or Shi'a based. Thus a new battle erupted inside of Iraq, prior to elections and soon thereafter, the Sunni vs. Shiite battle of centuries ago (and more recently in the Iran-Iraq war) re-emerged. And while the radicals claim only to be interested in forcing the U.S. to go home, it is very clear now that Iraqis are dying at the hands of radicals of the Sunni and Shiite factions of the Islamic Jihadists. The U.S. soldier is killed today by wandering across those radicals engaged in killing their foes or innocent Iraqis.
The war between Shiite and Sunni will not stop when the U.S. leaves, it will only become more intense as Iran and Syria fight it out to see who will be the leader of the Middle Eastern chaos.
And hopes that Iraqi army or police can contain this sectarian violence are misplaced. If the Iraqi forces don't succumb to fear tactics (their families are routinely targeted) they will succumb to their ideology which matches one or the other faction.
Recently, the Lebanese ousted the Syrian military and terrorist forces, only to be replaced by the even more vicious Hezbollah of Iran. And when it became clear that the murder of the former prime minister of Lebanon was to be investigated and most likely would lead to Hezbollah's complicity, the Hezbollah withdrew from the government and not so coincidentally the first of expected many new assassinations began. Clearly, Lebanon is headed for yet another collapse and Iran and Syria could not be happier.
Their friend is chaos. Because in chaos, the milder, more moderate people of the nation are frightened by their radical brethren. The people of Lebanon have suffered greatly from war after war and will continue to do so as long as the radicals continue to overpower their government. When the current Lebanese government collapses, there will be little left to hold off the battle between Shiite and Sunni there, and the more moderate Muslim and Christian peoples will suffer anew.
Chaos works well for Iran and Syria in Iraq as well. With chaos comes dissatisfaction with the government in power. The fact that the government in Iraq is attempting to democratize that nation is not lost on Iran and Syria and its collapse would be a welcome addition to the chaos that would lead to one or the other faction (Sunni or Shiite) gaining control of the chaos that eventually leads to an nation subscribing to radical Islamic Law.
To the Iranians in particular, this is the holy of holiest goals, make all nations look like Iran.
Both Iran and Syria are arrogant enough to believe that once the chaos is at its high point, and the governments have collapsed, then one or the other will step in and return the nations to some semblance of governance. They will worry about which faction runs the government then -- battling the last battle in relative unhindered violence -- let the best faction win. They don't care what this does to the people or the nations themselves, only that the battle will be on their terms and one of the other will win.

but what does the Bible have to say, about this.
Isaiah 17:1
THE MOURNFUL, inspired prediction (a burden to be lifted up) concerning Damascus [capital of Syria, and Israel's bulwark against Assyria]. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.
Damascus is famous for being the world's oldest city. Therefore, it is obvious we have an unfulfilled prophecy here. Another thing is immediately obvious as well: this prophecy is telling us that Damascus will be nuked, as nukes are the only way in modern times that a city would become a ruinous heap and cease from being a city
But, when? Armageddon? The Millennium? Post-Millennium?
Well, there will be no nukes (or other weapons) left once the Millennium starts and why would anyone nuke Damascus at Armageddon, a battle centered around Jerusalem, and Meddigo during the Tribulation. The Beast's armies will dominate the entire earth, so why resort to non-conventional weapons on Damascus at any time? After a little thought, the only time frame left that seems likely or even possible is during the pre-tribulation period we are in now. Israel has even sent a fighter jet up with nukes to be seen on her wings to show Syria she was playing with fire.
So if Israel has threatened to do this but so far has not, then why will she finally? See verses 12-14
Isaiah 17:12-14
Hark, the uproar of a multitude of peoples! They roar and thunder like the noise of the seas! Ah, the roar of nations! They roar like the roaring of rushing and mighty waters!
13
The nations will rush and roar like the rushing and roaring of many waters--but [God] will rebuke them, and they will flee far off and will be chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind, and like rolling thistledown or whirling dust of the stubble before the storm.
14
At evening time, behold, terror! And before the morning, they [the terrorizing Assyrians] are not. This is the portion of those who strip us [the Jews] of what belongs to us, and the lot of those who rob us.
Sound familiar? Another Arab assault on Israel to wipe her from memory and steal her land (compare with Psalms 83, another unfulfilled prophecy that describes the same war on Israel by the only people in the world that want to "cut her off from being a nation that no one remember the name of Israel anymore"). The Samson Option has long been talked about as Israel's nuclear response if she were ever overrun again like in 1973's Yom Kippur War. The only deterrence to her enemies that outnumber her is the threat that she would nuke those nations whose armies are invading her. Notice in verse 14 that when this option is invoked,
it takes only from one evening until the next morning to achieve decisive victory.
With very short distances for fighter jets to fly to deliver these nukes, its very easy to conceive of this.
So, Damascus may be obliterated by Israel in response to the next Arab alliance war move.
Isaiah 17 war involves all the nations around Israel going at her.
This is only a skirmish between Israel and Hezbollah, and I do not see a reason any other countries would dare to get involved yet. I believe they are all biding their time until they can neutralize the nuclear trump card that Israel holds. Iran is working on that.
Once Iran has Shehab-3 missiles with nuclear payloads, then I will be concerned about them using them soon.
Iran’s leaders are foolishly determined to get nuclear weapons. They have talked about using those weapons on Israel. Whether or not they are crazy enough to unleash a nuclear war in the Middle East, the Israelis cannot afford to find out. In the not-too-distant future Israel or the United States will have to bomb Iran, despite the consequences, and that is when the real oil crisis will begin. If President Bush has appeased Islam, generally, by calling it a “religion of peace,” he cannot appease the Shi’ite clerics in Iran. Theirs is not a religion of peace. Any attempt to normalize relations with Iran, or open trade with Iran, will accelerate the country’s military build-up and convince the Iranian clerics that “the Great Satan” is weak and rotten.
Here we find, at long last, the strategic dead-end toward which the U.S. is headed. Given the financial instability of recent months, any significant disruption of energy supplies will send the global economy into a tailspin. The United States will not suffer a military catastrophe, but a financial catastrophe due to military-related disruptions. The Iranians cannot defeat the U.S. Air Force, but they can damage the U.S. economy by triggering a financial implosion.
The timing of a U.S. or Israeli attack on Iran depends on the progress of Iran’s nuclear program. If the Israelis determine that the Iranians are dangerously close to becoming a regional nuclear power, the Israelis will insist on a strike. The United States will have to support the strike with silence, or participate in the strike – and ultimately take the consequences of a strike.
So, I expect the raid or war on Iran to preempt her nuclear weapons or the surprise unprevented possession of those nuclear weapons to directly lead up to the Isaiah 17 Ezekiel 38-39 war.
I know there will be brothers, and sisters to disagree with me on this and thats fine. This is what I think, is happening right now. If this happens this way or not, only Jesus knows. I am not a prophet, nor can I see the future. I can only see and interpret, what I read and study in the Bible. In the mean time, remember to
KEEP LOOKING UP.

Hello Dreamweaver,
Brother, I'm not a prophet either, but this sounds like a logical, possible scenario. In fact, the whole world is a powder keg, and there are many possible scenarios that could easily change life as we know it on this planet. However, the one involving Damascus
IS going to be a REALITY according to the Holy Bible. It WILL come to pass - it's just a matter of when.
There are many realities in Bible Prophecy that are yet to come, and I firmly believe that every word of Bible Prophecy will be fulfilled perfectly at GOD'S Appointed time. I want to say this again, and it's completely TRUE: no power on earth will be able to slow or hasten GOD'S Appointed time by even a second. GOD knew this time before the foundation of the world, and BLUNTLY - IT WILL HAPPEN!
This world is already an UGLY place, and it's going to get MUCH WORSE! Simply - the world has enjoyed evil, and the world will get more than it can handle. The Holy Bible makes it plain that the Middle East, Israel, and Jerusalem will be the central focus of end of this age events. This part of Bible Prophecy is unmistakable. It then becomes a matter of whether one believes that Bible Prophecy will be a REALITY. I believe that every word will be fulfilled perfectly. Some Christians try to explain these portions of the Bible away with many methods that attempt to make them meaningless. However, many portions of Bible Prophecy have already been fulfilled quite perfectly, and they are there for a reason. That reason is FUTURE REALITY in my opinion - plain and simple. No portion of the Holy Bible is without a serious meaning.
Brothers and Sisters, any person who has studied Bible Prophecy pays attention when the subject of ISRAEL comes up. There are many yet to be fulfilled Prophecies that specifically INVOLVE ISRAEL by name. There are many other places in that part of the world that are also specifically mentioned by names, and those places still exist. No portion of the Holy Bible should be dismissed as a fairy tale or fiction.
The BIBLE is GOD'S WORD - the ULTIMATE TRUTH from the CREATOR, and all within the HOLY PAGES will take place. The time might be soon for some horrible events, and no political power or nation will be able to stop them. World War II was a class picnic compared to what WILL DEFINITELY happen at GOD'S Appointed time.
GOD tells us in HIS WORD that HE has unfinished business and promises to keep with Israel. Israel will be punished most severely in the coming years, but Israel will survive and be restored. GOD also tells us in HIS WORD that HE has business to finish and Promises to keep with the CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST. Israel and the CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST are two completely separate entities, and they will be dealt with UNIQUELY according to Promises GOD has already made. JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF will CATCH UP HIS CHURCH to meet HIM in THE AIR, and HIS CHURCH will spend Eternity with JESUS in Heaven. One should not confuse Israel with the CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST. I don't wish to start another debate on this subject right now, so I'll leave it at the above for right now.
Most of Israel will die and be destroyed in the coming years according to the Holy Bible.
BUT, GOD HIMSELF will limit what happens to Israel. Those who go against Israel or try to harm Israel will be damned and destroyed. Those who try to help Israel and stand by Israel will be blessed. GOD has future plans for Israel that are spelled out in the Holy Bible. The day will come when Israel accepts JESUS CHRIST as THE CHRIST, THE MESSIAH, AND THEIR ANOINTED KING. JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF will claim the Throne of David in Jerusalem and rule and reign over the earth for 1,000 years. This will happen and is unmistakable according to Bible Prophecy.
Brothers and Sisters, nobody here has tried to set a date or a time. In fact, the Bible clearly tells us that no man knows the dates or times. However, GOD put Prophecy in the Bible for a reason, and Christians should study it.
In looking at all of the events happening in the world right now, it's reasonable to say one of two things:
1 - We could be seeing a preview of the end days of this age of Grace.
2 - We could be seeing the actual unfolding of Bible Prophecy right now before our very eyes.
Here's something that is MORE than REASONABLE to say RIGHT NOW: ALMIGHTY GOD HAS SHOWN AMAZING PATIENCE TO DISOBEDIENT MAN. GOD has already shown HIS ultimate Love for us by sending JESUS CHRIST to die on the CROSS for our sins. HE offered HIS ALL as a free GIFT to undeserving and evil men. There are many examples in the Holy Bible where ALMIGHTY GOD dealt harshly with those deserving punishment. GOD'S WRATH is RIGHTEOUS when HE pours it out, and GOD has told us HE will pour out HIS RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY WRATH at the end of this current time that we live in. The Bible refers to the time we currently live in as the Dispensation of Grace. That would be a time of undeserved favor by GOD toward men. GOD tells us this time will end, and it will. It will be followed by a horrible period of time called the Tribulation Period, and the Tribulation Period will last for (7) years. The end of the Tribulation Period will be marked with the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST IN GREAT WRATH. The period of time following HIS SECOND COMING is the 1,000 year rule and reign of CHRIST.
Brothers and Sisters, these things will most definitely happen. In fact, they might be happening
SOON OR NOW!
Love In Christ,
Tom
John 4:36-38 NASB "Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. "For in this case the saying is true, 'One sows and another reaps.' "I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor."
Philippians 3:20-21 NASB For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

Hi! DreamWeaver, binocular at hand is the close thing for me to see what is on a cloud but with my spiritual eyes i can see that somethings are changing and with what is going on in Israel and Iran time must be at hand.we must keep ready and looking up for Jesus said he will come as a thief in the night and we are starting to be pretty much aware of his coming.maybe it is his way of saperating us and getting us ready.well now, or in 100 years His Will will be done and we will always be waiting for his return but as for me i don`t care cause He is allready inside of me and I am Hidden with Jesus in God so long Dreamweaver love in Jesus.Def thank you good teaching.I love it.

Amen Sister Def!
This is a beautiful way of looking at things. YES - HE is already inside of us, and we are HIS purchased possession. We already know what eternity holds for us, but our burdens are for the lost. The REALITY of our HOPE and JOY is JESUS CHRIST, and what we have left to do is share the GOOD NEWS with others until JESUS comes to take us home.
Love In Christ,
Tom
Philippians 3:20-21 NASB For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

End of Great Tribulation
Right now as you read this, you are either saved or lost. There is no middle ground! You will spend eternity in either heaven or in hell. There will be a resurrection for each. For heaven God will give a body to enjoy all the blessings of eternity with the Lord in His Kingdom. For the lost hellbound Christ-rejecting sinner, God will resurrect and give a body suited for hell. This body will not dissolve in the flames and tortures of the lake of fire.
Above all, do not accept the mark of the beast on your right hand or forehead.
If you do take the mark then nothing can be done for you, you will suffer the malignant ulcer making the rest of your life almost unbearable.
Did you ever have a canker sore in your mouth? If so, then you know how painful that one little canker sore was. Now think of having canker sores all over your body, on your genitalia, in your mouth. Think how painful and unbearable your life will be.
Then follow that misery with eternity in hell. Don't take that mark.
