It's funny how some think sin should be tolerated in the name of unity...that's not unity, it's compromise.
We need to love and accept the sinner but never approve of their sin
.
I agree.

AMEN LIONESS!
There is only one worthy "UNITY" defined in the Bible, and that would be "THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT". All truly saved Christians have the same SPIRIT living in their hearts, "THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD". In fact, their hearts are "SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD" as a pledge of the promises of GOD and to set that person apart as a possession of JESUS CHRIST. This SEAL can't be broken by any power in the universe. Real Christians may have many differences in this short life, but the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT in their hearts is NOT one of the differences.
Men separate and divide many ways with denominations, tags, labels, and just about every way that man can think of,
BUT those with the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD living in their hearts will be spending eternity together with JESUS CHRIST. All of the man-made divisions will be left behind. Our fellowship here is based on the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, not man-made divisions. It is possible for real Christians of various denominations to have fellowship together.
Love In Christ,
Tom
Galatians 2:19-21 NASB "For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. "I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."
Ephesians 3:11-13 NASB This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.
Romans 4:20-21 NASB yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

We are under attack daily by television, by movies, by magazines, by newspapers, by the radio, by the computer telling us that occultism and witchcraft is a desirable and acceptable thing. And trying to explain to someone in Wicca or Heathenism, or anyother -ism that does not promote Christian beliefs, the dangers of dabbling into demonic things is dangerous, well they just don't see the danger. They don't see the harm of using "white" witchcraft.
And some churches have allowed in secular music into their worship. I saw on TV where one church was worshiping using the music of Bono. The world sees him as a savior type.
One of the most difficult things to be today is a Christian. The devil is attempting to wear us down and he really knows how to pull the strings.
Christianity is under attack in our homes, our schools, our colleges, our work places and in our churches. There is an all-out attempt to change Christian holidays and erase all references to Christ or Christianity. Rosie O'Donnell has compaired radial Christianity to radical Islamism saying they are just as dangerous. When was the last time you saw a Christian strap a bomb to their baby and throw it in a car?
Christ, Christians and Christianity is looked on as something to be eliminated. But this is nothing new. The cross is looked upon as an offense by the world but we who are saved look upon it as life.
How do you refine gold? By putting the gold into fire and heating it, the goldsmith knows when the gold is pure when he sees his own reflection in it.
God is turning the heat up. He wants His children to reflect Him. That's all that's going on.
Pray, Rejoice and Praise because our Lord is coming soon. You know how I know? I looked in the back the book!! Guess what? HE WINS!!!!

Hi baxley,
Rosie did not compare "radical" Christianity to radical islamists. She compared fundamental Christians as being as dangerous as radical islamists. There is a difference. Their are some radicals that do claim to be Christian. Some of these are in the liberal camp and would not hesitate to use violence to achieve their agendas. There was an anti-war "Christian" group just recently that has participated in a number of violent civil acts, not acting in a Christian manner at all. Your statement is very correct when it is applied to true Christians that have and know the true love of Christ.

Good to know, thanks. I heard that statement on Bill O'Reilly so maybe I misunderstood. Thanks for the correction.

Isn't that the craziest thing to do violence in order to protest the war?!! Of course, they are deceived by the evil one....as you mention, Pastor Roger, true Christians have and know the love of Christ. Or, if temporarily, they step outside of this...they will be convicted by the Holy Spirit and come back into fellowship with the Lord.

The occult is very subtle...Compromise has made it comfortable in our homes and in our churces...Many churches have no idea they intertain and are intertained by the occult...I do not think it is a good idea for those who have recently come out of the occult to minister to those still in the occult..but to be discipled and to grow in the Lord...to bear fruit of repentance...over a period of time...It is for us all that come to the Lord to wait on the Lord and to be discipled and to know the ministry God gives is from God an not from our old life. It could be that God will do a new thing and lead you elsewhere and did not call you to where you think you should be...I have been to meetings where ther have been people who say they have been delivered from whatever sin and are in a ministry a month or two after being saved...and the next thing, they are back where they were after the wind blows too hard and they cannot stand because they have not learned to trust...
