I was sitting at a KFC drive thru window one day waiting for my order. I saw a high rider truck (male driver) go across curb into a parking lock next door. The curb was standard 6 inches high but there was another 6 inch drop off into the next parking lot. The truck made it through just fine. A young girl saw the truck do it also. She was driving a low built old Camaro. She figured the truck could do it she could too. She went over it tearing out her muffler and then got hung up.
Another day I was following my daughter-in-law to an auto repair business so that I could take her and her kids home so she wouldn't have to wait with the kids while the car got repaired. She sat through a green light then started to go through it after it turned red. Further down the road at another intersection she drove straight through the intersection from the turn only lane. When she got to the auto repair parking lot she turned in and took out a flag marking where the ditch was and lodged the car on a rock. When I asked her about it I found out she had been on a cell phone talking with her mother.

I know at least the woman in the first one is finally thankful that her husband spent $100,000 on that boat!!
And I am still trying to figure out how they got that recliner under that rock!

I found out she had been on a cell phone talking with her mother.
Cell phones are dangerous, while driving. I know in Arizona, it will soon be illegal to talk, or texting on a cell, while driving.  |

Cell phones are dangerous, while driving. I know in Arizona, it will soon be illegal to talk, or texting on a cell, while driving. I wish they would do that here. As of right now cell phones are not allowed for those under 18 and school bus drivers only. |
