I thought Hardies was Carl Jr.I'm from Calif ,then 10+ years a go moved to Neb. There are many adds that 20 years ago wouldn't fly ,with the moral and ethical erosion of America this is what we as a nation get. Many sport figures stars wear a cross's and yet there values would be less than Christian.I think as believers in Jesus as our LORD AND SAVIOR we need to fervently pray for our country.

Amen. There is nothing that wets my appetite better than seeing the food right there on tv. No need to dress it up with anything else other than the food and the price I agree, the food sells itself. Most other restaurants here in Los Angeles show the food....makes me want to go there, even though I won't (can't get to some of them).

Except for evil itself.
We did have Hardees and Carls Jr's both here at one time. All the Carls Jr's closed down and now just the Hardees are here. When I decide to go out for a meal I go to a small family restaurant that is run by a Christian family. It is quiet and kind of home like. The burgers they serve are large and moist without the dripping grease and I can have it my way .... lot's of everything on it. My grandkids love it there also.
Sounds like a great place, and it's nice you can support a Christian family business. What state are you in? Just curious.

It seems like people are either really walking with the Lord or not walking with the Lord....at least out here in Los Angeles. Maybe when there is alot of evil around, alot of Christians draw nearer to Christ?

There is evil allover the place and as Christians we should be or at least in my life this is what I try to do Is prepair for the days battle by reading Gods word and prayer. In Matthew 12 : 30 says " He who is not with Me (Jesus) is against ME ;and he who does not gather with Me scatters.[NASB} With that verse in mind we are eather for Christ or against Him. Its a shame that people will wear items that are linked to Christianity but there actions speak loader and we as belivers pay the price .

Sometimes I wonder if we are fulfilling some of the prophecies that were told about the times before the rapture. I think that our world is getting worse off everyday.
People really need to clean their act up and at least act like they are somewhat civilized. Why show a naked woman to get folks to buy a burger? I mean, think about it, how does that even tie together?! Nudity is not necessary!!! I think that this is a point that too many people need to try to understand.

Deb, we don't have Carl's Jr here in Fl, but Paris Hilton wore a very Slinky bikini, for a burger king or McDonalds or one of those commercials not sure which, but let me tell you something the camera was not focused on the hamburger buns. I think commercials like this are a disgrace. And I think they ought to be stopped.
I have stopped going to places like this just to boycott them, I would rather spend an extra $10 and take my girls to a family restaurant where they can have a good meal and the ads are family oriented. It is a Christian restaurant even closes on Sundays.
We as Christians have to help other Christian business grow and get the money we would otherwise spend in places that promote, sexuality and immorality to our children. There are tons ob Christians who own their businesses. I don't know about other churches, but our church has a phone book that has nothing but Christian business listed. These are places where we know we are going to get the best service and we are not only helping out Borthers and Sisters, but we also are helping God's kingdom.

Sounds like the same commercial....only they finally took it off here as so many people were complaining about it! That's nice about the phone book your church puts out. What state are you in? Here in Los Angeles, it's so big and so many different types of ethnic groups, etc.

Is Hooters any better? My boyfriend goes there a lot, but tells me he doesn't even notice the half naked girls. Here again is a food chain using sex and beautiful girls to bring in the money. Should christians even darken the door, let alone work there?

Hello Friend, WELCOME! I look forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you. The answers to your questions about Hooters are an obvious "NO!" I'll take my wife, kids, and grandkids to a place for Christian families, and we will pray before our meals. If the place isn't designed for our use, we probably aren't really welcome there anyway. Regardless, we won't be eating in a place like that. I would go hungry first. Love In Christ, Tom Matthew 18:20 NASB "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."

And I don't think we should go there to eat either.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Christians Unite.
I agree, the answer is, NO! They should not get our encouragement nor our money.
