I read that one and the sequel to that a while back. Or is that one the sequel? I don’t remember. Anyways, they are both GREAT books.  Grin

Perreti also has a series of adventure books for children, it may be called "Cooper Kids"...

I love Peretti.  "Visitation" is a wild ride and makes you think about how careful you have to be when you're trying to influence your kids for Christ.  "Piercing the Darkness"  and "This Present Darkness" are superb.  "The Oath" is great; I
loved the allegory of how sin affects your life without Christ.  It was a little slow but I still enjoyed it.  "The Prophet" is great!!  Peretti weaves the truth all through this one and it moves faster than most of his work.  "The Hangman's Curse" is
great for teens to adults.  I read this whole book to my mom and she loved it.

Any one read "The Wounded Spirit"?  That's his first non-fiction.

A.B.

PS.  If you like Frank Peretti, I think you'll like Bill Meyers and
       Ted Dekker too.

I really shouldn't post in here, not having read anything by him, but anyhow...

To tell ya the truth, his books sounded interesting at first. But then everyone thought they were so good, so I kinda avoided them... Grin Normally what the crowd likes really stinks. Tongue

But I guess I'm going to have to read one; my interest has been aroused. If they aren't good, I'm going to come after you guys and beat you with a hardback copy.

(For those of you with sensitive souls, I am joking, ya know. Wink)

Ooo, one of my favorites so far...

I've read all of Perreti's adult novels (I'm thinking about reading his 'for kids' stuff).

He is extremely entertaining.  If you see a Perreti novel you haven't read:  Buy it and read it!  Smiley

He's ok. I've read a couple of his books.
Not...wonderful, but ok.
