The Lord of The Rings: Return of the King. Before that, The Devil Wears Pradda. Loved rewatching LOTR. Stomached the other for my wife's sake. But mark my youthful words: John Wayne movies rock!!!!!!! As for Hollywood? Aaaaaaaaahhh, they started following Rock Hudson's lead.

Last movie I watched was fantastic four and superman returns. I like superhero movies. I want to see "The passion of the Christ". I am nervous about seeing it, but surely, if I can watch action movies, I can watch that

I rarely go to the movies, but I saw "Charlotte's Web" with my daughter's family and grandsons recently. It was an animated show that was for the entire family, and we all enjoyed it. It was sold out several times, and the seats were packed with parents and small children. I would hope that Hollywood gets the message and knows that many families want clean movies and clean television. UM? I was just thinking that I've seen about 5 movies in the last 6 years, and all of them were with my grandsons. The one before was "Cars", and I think that all of them were animated. So, my wife and I are wild and crazy people living on the edge.

"The Second Chance" It is rated PG-13 because of some drug references. Even then it was a great movie as it details the struggles of a small church in a bad neighborhood. It's most important line of thought is how we as Christians can get carried away with the things of this world but that God will see us through and bring us home if our hearts are in the right place.
I don't watch many movies and don't see them more than once but this is one that I will probably watch again.

We rent more than go to the movies...although it is getting just as expensive to rent now days.
But the last movie I watched was "Soldier of God". And I would not recommend it for anyone. A real snoozer that had little in the way of a story line.
I am getting ready to go see Ghost Rider though...I too like the comics and have enjoyed the Marvel lineups. And this year is going to be a big one.

A night at the movies for me is kicking back in the lounger, eating some Reddenbacker with a cup of dark hot chocolate or coffee and maybe some fudge. I saw a portion of the "Soldier of God" and couldn't make it past the first 15 mins.

If a movie doesn't catch me in the first 15 minutes I leave it and return to my Bible studies.

I am usually about the same....although I have gotten lazier over the past couple of years...there have been a couple of movies that the wife and I sat down to. And ended the movie wondering why we wasted 2 hours of time.
I am only thankful that it was not in a theatre cause I hate walking out on a movie...feels like money wasted.
