Proud to be a Christian

I just wanted to give praise to God for answering my prayers about my husband to start treating me better. On last Saturday we were able to talk things out and hopefully, get things solved. Thanks be to God for His mercy and grace.
I'm wondering if I should still get some counseling. My insurance will cover it.

That is great news sister. Counselling with a good Christian counsellor never hurts.

Hello Forgiven2,

I'm very happy to hear how things are going. YES, GOD does answer prayer, and we all have a huge list of things to give thanks for. Sister, please do consider using all of the resources that GOD has already provided.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Romans 6:10-14 NASB  For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Hello Forgiven2, I don't think I've had a chance to welcome you to CU, I am doing so now  Wink

Brothers Tom and Roger are absolutely correct, prayer always works, and counseling won't hurt.

I too will be praying for you and your family.
