The Son of God loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Rom. 8:32
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom. 5:8
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. II Cor. 1:22
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Eph. 1:14
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Eph. 2:4-6

All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. II Tim. 3:12
I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Matt. 10:35, 36
Whosoever ... will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. I John 2:15, 16
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. The servant is not greater than his lord. John 15:18-20
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. John 17:14

In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin hut he that refraineth his lips is wise. Prov. 10:19
My beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. James 1:19
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty: and he that ruieth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Prov. 16:32
If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. James 3:2
By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matt. 12:37
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Psa. 141:3
Christ ... suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously. I Pet. 2:21, 23
Consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be weaned and faint in your minds. Heb. 12:3
In their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Rev. 14:5

What the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. Rom. 8:3
The law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Heb. 10:1, 2
By him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Acts 13:39
Forasmuch ... as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren. Heb. 2:14-17

There is none righteous, no, not one: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Rom. 3:10, 12
There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. Ecc. 7:20
How can he be clean that is born of a woman? Job 25:4
Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Heb. 4:1
I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psa. 51:3, 5
The LORD. . . hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. II Sam. 12:13
Whom he justified, them he also glorified. Rom. 8:30
We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Cor. 3:18
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel. Col. 1:23
Walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory I Thess. 2:12

God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints and do minister. Heb. 6:10
I beseech you.... brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Rom. 12:1
The love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. II cor. 5:14, 15
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. I Cor. 10:31

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matt. 11:29
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Will the LORD cast off for ever? and wilt he be favourable no more? Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. Psa. 77:7-11
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psa. 27:13
